At Delight Story, we’re a father-and-son team who have been capturing weddings since 2008. For 7 years, we documented love stories in College Station before moving our studio to The Woodlands. Our style blends candid storytelling with fine-art imagery, preserving not only how your wedding looks, but how it feels.

We don’t just take photos, we tell your story with heart. As a father-and-son team, we blend experience with fresh perspective to capture genuine emotions and fine-art details. By limiting the number of weddings we accept each year, we give every couple our full attention and care, ensuring their story is told with artistry and authenticity.

Our wedding at The Carriage House was absolutely amazing, and having Chris and Lora there made it even better! They took care of photo and video for us, and I can’t believe how beautiful everything turned out. From the very start of the day they made me and my bridesmaids feel so comfortable . We were laughing, taking fun photos, and they kept the energy up the whole time. My bridesmaids are still talking about how much they loved them! During the ceremony and reception, they didn’t miss a thing. The photos look like they came out of a magazine, and the video brings back every emotion. They also made sure to get all the little details I worked so hard on, which means the world to me. Chris and Lora were not just vendors, they felt like part of the family. We had our wedding at The Peach Orchard and I can’t say enough good things about Mike and Lora. They did our photos, video, and even brought the photobooth, and it was all perfect. From the very beginning they made us feel calm and excited, and on the wedding day they were everywhere without ever being in the way. The pictures are absolutely beautiful, the video made me cry all over again, and the photobooth was such a huge hit with our guests , everyone kept going back for more pictures! What I loved most is that they were so easy to be around, it felt like having friends with us who just happened to be super talented. I’m so thankful we chose them. They truly captured every single moment and gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. Mike and Lora are AMAZING! They did our engagement photos and our wedding at The Bell Tower, and everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Mike, Lora, and Chris are the BEST! They did our engagement pictures on a rooftop and it was honestly a dream. I was kinda nervous at first but they made us laugh and feel so comfortable, and the pictures turned out amazing. For our wedding at Aston Gardens, they worked so hard all day and captured everything, little details, sweet moments, and all the fun on the dance floor too. The video they made made me cry (happy tears!) because it felt like reliving the whole day again. They’re super nice, easy to be around, and honestly felt like friends by the end. I couldn’t imagine my wedding without them and I’m so thankful we picked them. If you need photo and video in Houston, don’t even think twice these are your people!

Yes! We often work with trusted second photographers and assistants to ensure we capture every angle and moment, from the big events to the little in-between details.

Absolutely. Every image you receive will be professionally edited in our signature style, color-corrected, polished, and ready to enjoy. We never send unedited files.

Yes! Along with wedding photography, we also offer videography packages, photo booth rentals, and custom-designed albums so you can relive your day in multiple ways.

You’ll receive a sneak peek within a few days of your wedding. The full gallery is typically delivered within 1–2 weeks. Video highlight reels and films are delivered within within 3–4 weeks.

The exact number depends on the size and flow of your celebration, but most couples receive 600–1200 fully edited images for a full-day wedding.

Yes. We are fully insured, which gives peace of mind to you and your venue. Certificates of insurance can be provided upon request.

Yes! Our Photo/Video Combo Packages bring everything together, blending photojournalistic still photography with cinematic video highlights of your wedding day. Each package includes a beautifully edited highlight film (up to seven minutes) and a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your film. It’s the perfect way to relive your happiest moments again and again.

My approach blends photojournalism with editorial-style portraits, capturing authentic moments as they happen, with intentional artistry. You’ll get images and video that feel candid, emotional, and timeless.

I’ve been photographing and videography weddings since 2003, and during that time I’ve covered over 1000 ceremonies, everything from intimate elopements to full-day celebrations.

I come fully equipped with multiple camera bodies, lenses, lighting gear, and extra batteries/cards. Plus, I travel with backup equipment so even if something malfunctions, we’re fully covered.

A signed contract and deposit secure your date. The balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding day. We accept payments by credit card, cash or check, whatever works best for you.

As soon as your day is wrapped, I back everything up to multiple secure locations, local drives and cloud storage, so your files are safe and never at risk of being lost.

Absolutely! I offer photo, video, booth, and album services à la carte or bundled. We can tailor a package to your needs and vision, just let me know what you're looking for.

I’m fully comfortable working in all lighting conditions , whether it’s a naturally lit ceremony or a dimly lit reception. For ceremonies, I use specialized low-light lenses such as my 85mm f/1.2, which allows me to capture crisp, bright images without using flash, perfect for respecting church rules and avoiding distractions. For receptions, I strategically set up four professional flashes around the room to create flattering, natural-looking light while still preserving the ambiance and atmosphere.
