Hi there! We're the team behind Duet Photography & Video. We're a collection of wedding photographers, filmmakers, designers, and editors. We each have our own story of how we've come to be a part of this incredibly field of wedding journalism. As individual as we are, we're all bound by the same love for our craft – the artistry of blending documentary journalism with stunning, creative vision. With over a thousand weddings under our collective belts, we've photographed and filmed weddings of every shape and size imaginable. We can't wait to document your wedding as well!

Duet's been documenting love stories since 2005, so long ago that we used to shoot videos on actual film! Now we use the most modern equipment to create stunning work, but our focus on photojournalism and storytelling has remained the same. Our mission is to deliver works that aren't just beautiful visually, but jaw dropping emotionally.

A Wonderful Experience!

My husband and I could not be happier about our experience with Duet Photography & Video! We got married this past May 2025 at The Vineyards at Aquebogue, and we were looking for a photographer that would capture all the beautiful details of our day at a reasonable price. From our first conversation, I felt that Hanel and his team had the expertise and photography style we were looking for. They were very flexible and responsive throughout the planning process. By wedding day I was completely at ease that they would get every shot and capture the overall atmosphere of our day. Now having gotten our pictures back, we can confidently say Duet did not disappoint! Every photo brings us back to all our beautiful moments as if we were re-living them again. The highlight video kept us smiling from beginning to end. They were also great in guiding us on how to adjust our positioning in certain photos that highlighted the little details that so much effort was put into. I would highly recommend Duet Photography to any couple looking for the best of the best for their special day!

Duet was a great addition to our wedding!! Hanel was super easy to speak with and very responsive throughout the wedding planning process. For our wedding day, we had Hanel and Mike! I was a little nervous with the rain on our wedding day, but they were both so accommodating and made us feel so comfortable. My family and friends had such great things to say about them! The pictures are beautiful and we were so happy we went with Duet! I would definitely recommend them!

My husband, family and I do not have enough good things to say about Hanel, Mike and their team. From the first meeting, my husband and I knew we were in the best hands with Duet. Hanel had endless patience for our questions and sent us pictures from weddings they had captured at our venue. Hanel answered every question and met with us multiple times to make sure we felt ready for our wedding. On the day, the team was efficient and so much fun! They really worked so well with us and all our bridal party and groomsmen. I cannot recommend Duet enough. They will make sure your day is captured beautifully and will make the bride and groom are heard and will truly capture the essence of the day. You will not regret hiring this team!!
