    Working with Ed & Aileen Photography was an absolute joy — and the photos speak for themselves. Their ability to capture the energy of the people, the vibe of the moment, and all the little in-between interactions was nothing short of magic. Their style is vibrant yet natural, striking the perfect balance between polished and playful. Every image feels alive — you can feel the personalities of the people in the photos, and that’s such a rare gift. From the very beginning, Ed and Aileen were so much fun to work with. They’re the kind of people who instantly make you feel like you’ve been friends for years, which goes a long way on a day as emotionally full as your wedding. Our engagement session was such a great way to get to know each other’s styles and build that comfort — which totally paid off on the big day. They also offer cool add-ons like 35mm film shots, which added a beautiful, nostalgic layer to our final gallery. And their skill behind the lens? Next-level. They’re phenomenal at balancing light and tone, creating images that feel bright and joyful without being overdone. We’d absolutely recommend Ed & Aileen to anyone looking for photographers who will not only document your day, but truly see it — and make it feel like you all had a blast doing it.

    Ed & Aileen were an absolute delight to work with for our wedding day. From the moment we first connected, they were attentive, communicative and punctual in all of their interactions. Their photography style is truly moving, with a keen eye for capturing all the small, thoughtful details that make your wedding day so special. Somehow, they managed to document all of the emotions of the day without ever feeling overbearing or taking attention away from us and our guests. In fact, everyone at the wedding raved about how much they loved working with Ed and Aileen and how they noticed that the photographers were great. We would use them again in a heartbeat - they are true professionals who delivered gorgeous, high-quality photos that we will cherish forever.

    We can’t rave enough about working with Ed & Aileen for our wedding photos! When we were hiring photographers, we wanted someone who could capture our day in a way that felt authentic. What was astounding (and frankly magical) about Ed and Aileen’s work is that their photos captured the events of the day AND the emotions of the day all in one. Ed and the team have a spidey sense for when something is organically working, and they find a way to prompt that further and capture it at just the right moment. The result is jaw-dropping photos that gave us the opportunity to relive all the best moments of our wedding. Ed and the team made the whole process—from planning to engagement shoot to the big day to edits afterwards—feel the perfect balance of organized, fun, and supported. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

    I don’t think I’ll ever stop raving about Ed & Aileen Photography. We worked with Ed for our wedding and engagement sessions, and it was a fantastic experience. We loved our engagement photos, and Ed surprised us with a 35mm film gallery from our wedding day. I don’t know how he has the energy to be everywhere at once, but he somehow does it. I can’t wait to see our digital photos. Every time I looked, he was there capturing moments. He brings a lot of fun energy everywhere he goes, and I can feel how much he loves his job. It shows in all his photos. If you want to work with a true professional, who gets down and dirty to get the right shots, Ed’s your guy. 10/10!! He coached us so we’d look our best, kept us on schedule, and expertly corralled our giant wedding party. All while leading us around the nature boardwalk at the Lincoln Park Zoo, finding the perfect spots. Thank you, Ed ️
