I'm a California native with a wanderlusting soul. I grew up in the snowy mountains of Lake Tahoe and spent my teenage years in the rainforests of Costa Rica before returning to the West Coast of the United States to study the art of wedding photography and earn my BFA with Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California.
I specialize in capturing outdoor weddings, destination weddings, adventure couples, and elopements. Natural light, real moments, and emotions are my constant inspiration. My engagement and portrait shoots are laid back, relaxed, and true to you and your personalities. I have been shooting weddings for over a decade, and feel lucky and grateful to be able to do what I love and live a life full of creativity and passion. Let's shoot!

Grace is the best!!!
We had the pleasure of working with Grace Kathryn Photography for our wedding. Grace was an absolute joy to work with - she was efficient and detailed in her communication, always responding quickly to emails and keeping us updated every step of the way. Most importantly, Grace genuinely cared about capturing our love story and making sure we were happy with the photos. Her photography style is airy and beautifully epic. The photos turned out even better than we could have imagined, perfectly encapsulating all of the special moments and emotions from our big day. Grace was so helpful on the wedding day itself, guiding us through the schedule and making sure we stayed on track. She was constantly smiling and kept the mood light. We couldn't have asked for a better, kinder photographer to document our wedding journey. From start to finish, Grace was a calming, warm presence - the whole time we worked with her I felt like we were in excellent hands. She gently directed us without being "posed" or pushy. No notes. Like any engaged person, I felt some anxiety about photos since that's the thing that you get to actually "keep" after your big day. When I tell you, not only do we look like freaking movie stars in all Grace's photos, she PERFECTLY captured the EMOTION of the moment. If you didn't know better, you would think our wedding pictures were a People Magazine Exclusive or something. Just as valuable as the photos themselves was Grace's kind attitude and willingness to work with us on what we needed. It ended up raining on our courthouse day and she not only rolled with it, but got INCREDIBLE photos to boot! Long story short: HIRE GRACE!
