I am a photographer that looks for the extraordinary and artistic angles in each portrait session or wedding. I make artwork for your home while documenting authentic moments. I am inspired by emotions, intimate moments and the way the light captures a feeling. I stop and observe in my life and am in tune with my spiritual side. I hope this shows in my work as I enjoy making others feel comfortable and good about them selves. I enjoy capturing connection, love, and happiness in each wedding.

Tyler School of Art was where I became obsessed with photography and years later I still consider myself an artist who makes a living doing what I love! My work emulates the look of film in which I learned in the darkroom. I spent a semester in Italy observing and documenting in black and white film on the streets. I have grown into a yoga lover that incorporates breath work into my photo sessions to help others show their true self. I come to each wedding with a positive and excited mindset to create for you!

Heather is great! She took photos for our engagement session and our wedding. Heather is super professional but also kind. She helped make us feel comfortable during both photo sessions. For the wedding she created a wedding photographer timeline with us which helped a lot and also listened to our requests before and during the big day. During the wedding she helped gather people for photos. Family members said that she was very professional, in that she helped direct them, but also lovely to work with. She was also always on time and dressed appropriately. Our photos arrived on time in which she told us and were exactly what we could have dreamed of. Thank you so much for everything Heather! We would definitely recommend her and hire her again for any occasion.

As a wedding videographer, I get the opportunity to work with tons of photographers on a monthly basis. Without of doubt, Heather is one of the best that I've had a chance to work with. She's super communicative and brings an incredibly calming presence to the day. The wedding we worked together was incredibly packed with a number of events which ultimately led to us running slightly behind. Heather was such a trooper and able to make sure the couple got all of the shots that they wanted without missing much of cocktail hour. I'd highly recommend Heather if you're looking for a photographer.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. But I have a list of referrals so please reach out!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 20+ years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted 2nd shooter. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you could find the perfect replacement.

Yes many of my packages come with a 2nd photographer. It's great to get that 2nd set of eyes and creativity! I love all my 2nd shooters!

Yes it's my job! I am easy going and have lots of skills in mindfulness too! I will help you breathe into a smile or help you feel at ease with any discomfort. I have my tricks!

Yes! I do that with you in our first call. It's important to understand how everything will play out and I have lots of experience building realistic timelines.
