Hi there! I’m Sara, the creative force behind Iris Rose. As a child, I loved to create - it was my favorite thing. Through years of navigating life’s challenges, I drifted away from my creative roots. In 2020, I picked up a camera and photography brought me back to that creative space, allowing me to capture something both beautiful and meaningful and I fell in love. When I’m being creative, I feel like my best self.

And I love, love! I love celebrating love. Weddings have always been my favorite event to attend and today, I get to help bring these special events to life! Helping people celebrate who they are and what means the most to them, means everything to me - that’s why I love what I do. I believe in feeling (and feeling big), authentic moments, raw emotion, genuine connection, laughter, tears, depth, community, camaraderie, service, ceremony…this guides my work. I believe in experiencing all that life has to offer and helping others do the same.

We interviewed several photographers at the beginning of our wedding planning process. Iris Rose Sara stood out immediately - she was kind, creative, and helpful -- helping us determine the length and type of coverage we needed. The day of the wedding she arrived on time and ready to roll! We were super impressed with the way she utilized multiple features of our venue (it was a small backyard wedding) to give us dreamy and romantic pictures that were complimentary to us and the red rocks behind us. Her commitment to getting "the shot" included laying on the pavement at an angle to capture us and the beautiful mountain behind us. Her rates were reasonable, and we already love the sneak peeks she sent us the day after! Highly recommend!

From the moment we first spoke with Iris Rose Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Sara's communication style was open, clear, and detailed, and she was incredibly adaptive in working with us to capture our special day. As someone who has never had a professional photographer before, I found Sara's instructions during our engagement session and on the wedding day to be easygoing and helpful. When it came time for our newlywed photos, Sara was quick to re-imagine poses on the spot to accommodate the limited mobility of my dress. On the wedding day, Sara was a true professional - she seamlessly guided us through taking photos at the Tucson Museum of Art, a location we had chosen. Not only did she bring our ideas to life, but she was also there to capture the emotional moment when I first saw my engagement ring that day. Sara's thorough, diligent, and intentional approach to her work is evident in the beautiful final photos we received. Yes! Every photo is edited before delivering.

All wedding packages will receive 5-10 sneak peek photos with 24 hours of event end. On average, delivery of full albums takes place between 4 and 6 weeks after event end.

Yes! I can provide copies of policies upon request.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter or longer time frame.

You can expect about 30 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

I have options on all of my packages to add a second photographer for the full length of your wedding.

I do! I offer videography and content creation. Discounts applied when multiple services booked.

Yes. Typically I request a 50% deposit with a signed contract to secure a date, but I know what it's like to plan a wedding on a budget and I believe in being flexible! If you need to adjust the deposit amount, we can definitely chat about it.

I regularly run specials! Follow my social media @irisrosephoto and you'll be able to see what's available at the time. I also offer different discounts for veterans.

Yes yes yes! I love to travel. In-state driving fees are charged at a per mile rate and out of state rates vary--this can be determined after a free consultation call.
