We are a team of photographers, videographers, and event planners serving the state of Missouri! We specialize in capturing the genuine moments of authentic joy in each wedding we are a part of. Our priority is to treat every client the way we would like to be treated and to make this the easiest, most enjoyable part of your wedding. Erica, our photographer, was phenomenal to work with - she was sweet, professional, and captured the day beautifully. Nic, our videographer, had such a welcoming presence and made everyone feel comfortable. The editing team did a great job putting the video together. The quality of Ivory Grove's work is amazing, with gorgeous editing that really brought our photos to life. We couldn't recommend them enough, and were so thankful to have them be a part of our special day. We have a small, local team of photographers and videographers. We often get asked, "Who will be my photographer/videographer? Do I get to pick?" We are happy to show you portfolios of our individual team members! But also keep in mind that there are companies out there who book weddings and outsource to random photographers/videographers. THIS IS NOT US! All our team members go through our onboarding program/training and often start as second shooters for us. We will not send a photographer or videographer to your wedding whom we do not have 100% confidence in. We are real people!

Of course! We love to help with timelines. Your wedding timeline is as unique as you are. We know that trying to decide how much time you need for photography & videography can be tricky to calculate. Know that we are very flexible and if you need to change the number of hours as you get closer to your wedding day and your plans become more set, we are happy to help you adjust that. We can also build you a custom package to suit your individual needs. Send us a message, and we would love to share with you our sample timelines and best tips to make your day go smoothly!

Yes! We are happy to email proof of insurance to your venue upon request.

We have two options for the deposit. 1. 50% now and 50% due the week of the wedding 2. 15% now and the rest divided monthly until the wedding We are also happy to set up a payment plan that best supports your needs and budget.

It depends on your location. If your location does require an added travel expense, it will be clearly listed on your customized proposal. Also, please let us know if there is a specific place you want to take engagement photos. We will let you know if there is a travel fee for that location. Otherwise, we expect the engagement session to be taken within 25 miles of the nearest major city to your venue (St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Columbia or Chicago). We do not believe in hidden travel fees!

Our standard turnaround time is 30 days. Of course, this can vary a little during our busy season, but generally speaking, we have all media delivered within 30-60 days. The turnaround time on our engagement sessions is typically 2-3 weeks.

It is pretty expensive- we hired a different photographer for our event in Colorado and it was way more affordable even though they offered the same thing. We were super happy with our engagement photo session. Unfortunately, though we had the same photographer for our engagement session and our wedding reception, we seemed to get better photos during the engagement session than the wedding reception. We had a little bit of trouble finding our photographer at our reception when we wanted her around for certain photos. But they were always punctual, arriving on time as expected and got images of the particular things we requested. They then have a team of different people who edit the photos before getting them to you. I kind of wonder how much they really do, though.. there were some blemishes I wanted removed from my face in our engagement photos that they didn’t fix, and there was a wet spot on my sister’s dress at the reception that they didn’t bother to remove either, so I feel like I have more work to do to go in and edit those things out myself. But I was happy with the turnaround time to get the photos back to us. It was really important for me that the pictures looked super natural and not overly editted as if I was right back in the moment when I looked at them. Ivory Grove let me look at several of their photographers’ portfolios since I was worried they might have different styles. They were all very similar and beautiful, but I did like Erika’s the most and they set me up with her. Erika took our engagement photos and our wedding photos and she did a PHENOMENAL job. She got every angle of every moment, and a lot of my guests mentioned how impressed they were that she was getting on the ground for some shots, setting up lighting, and orchestrating everyone to make sure I got all the photos I requested. Ivory Grove finished editing the photos she took in only 2 weeks, and the album they sent has sooo many photos in it. I should have known because I got a lot of engagement photos back as well, but I was just blown away by the amount of gorgeous photos they gave me. It’s also so easy for me to download them onto my phone or computer. The investment was well worth it, but also they were more affordable than a lot of other photographers I’d looked into! I appreciated how they communicated often throughout the whole process and not just at the beginning. The payment structure was easy and automatic so that I could space it out until the wedding. They delivered the photos quickly and gave me more when asked for a couple more of a particular moment of the big day. For an organization as a whole, I would rate them as high quality! \nI would probably rate my photographer experience a little less than 4 stars and closer to 3-3.5. I enjoyed my photographer during engagement photos. She was easy to talk to and when we got them back we discussed things I did and did not like about them. (Example: touch ups in our body positions needed pointed out, and the brightness of our water background not my style). I felt good going into the wedding day after that experience. In the pre wedding call, the photographer felt a bit more scattered. On wedding day, it felt similar. Many of the shots were taken very wide, creative poses weren’t quite what we talked about especially during our first dance. During our posed portraits, my MOH who is also a photographer helped with positioning and touch ups. Her boyfriend carried the lights around for the photographer. \n\nAll that to say, I did get some beautiful pictures, the were a few artistic choices made I didn’t love. However, they may be just your style so explore it if you love what you are seeing. I think discussion having a 2nd photographer is important if you book the photographer I had or do the engagement photos to make sure you connect and talk to Ivory Grove afterward.
