When I'm not behind the camera I'm hiking, fly fishing and doing yoga. I'll use any excuse to head north to the Adirondacks. (Eagle Bay donuts is my favorite incentive for a day trip.) I'm on my way to becoming a licensed yoga instructor. I'm obsessed with how my hair smells after a day in the woods. If you can relate, we'll probably be best friends. I live with my amazing fiancé, Alex, and we have two kids who are way cooler than we are. We also have FIVE cats and two dogs. I'm always down for a coffee date if you want to chat wedding details or hiking trails. I always want your dog to come to your engagement sessions.

My style is light and airy with pops of color. I never like comparing myself to other artists but I'm always in competition with myself to be more creative than I was the previous day. I am certainly not opposed to the risk of making myself look a little silly if it means I'm getting the right shot. If contorting myself on the ground or wading out into a creek means an epic shot, I'm 100% on board.

    Booking Jen Pecka Photography for our wedding was one of the easiest and definitely one of the best decisions we made for our January wedding! From the moment we met, Jen made us feel super comfortable and confident in front of her camera. She shot both our engagement session as well as our big day and all of the photos came out absolutely GORGEOUS!!! She captured every single detail of our wedding beautifully. As we looked through our wedding photos for the first time, we were able to relive the best day of our lives. Jen not only captures special moments, but the genuine emotions of those being photographed.
