Hi, I’m Kayla! I moved to Austin in 2013 to pursue my career as a graphic designer (and eat all the tacos/pet all the dogs). While working as a designer at an Austin start-up, I directed and photographed marketing campaigns for the brand’s clothing line. During this time, I realized I was happiest when I was connecting and shooting with people. I transitioned to wedding photography after a childhood friend asked me to document her wedding in 2014. I was immediately drawn to the energy, emotions, and connection that I witnessed at the wedding. After that, I decided to dive headfirst into becoming a wedding photographer and never looked back!

I value the connection I have with my clients, and I want all of my couples to feel celebrated, supported, and completely comfortable with me on their wedding day. At the end of the day, trust and connection are essential to creating the most authentic and timeless photographs together.

    Kayla was the absolute perfect match for us. We had our engagement and wedding photos completed with her, and we were looking at many different photographers. However, I fell in love with her effortless mixture of posed and candid shots. The entire way through the process, Kayla reaches out and communicates with you and helps you choose your engagement outfits/where to get them done. She also helps you with your wedding timeline and asks for a must have photo list. She has great informative material she sends you to help you with all your choices. I thought our engagement photos went well, but whenever she sent them back to us, I WAS STUNNED. I absolutely love them. They are such great quality and I have them printed out all over our house. Kayla is SO easy to work with and so full of joy and encouragement. She tells you exactly how to pose. She makes the entire process so fun and exciting. I cannot recommend Kayla enough! For our wedding, we had so many setbacks through our entire weekend – that we were pushed to have a backyard wedding and it looks like nothing even went wrong. I LOVE her work and I LOVE our wedding pictures. I will treasure them forever, and I will be recommending her to everyone I can tell about her work.
