Q: Will you edit all our pictures?

All of the pictures that turn out i.e. eyes are open for everyone, no duplicates etc. will be edited and delivered to you!

Q: Do you offer a second shooter option?

I do, my husband is my second shooter and the photos will be edited by me.

Q: Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

I do require a deposit, it depends on how many hours are booked. For any wedding over 5 hours, a $500 deposit is due along side a signed contract to secure your date.

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

You will receive all of your photos within a month of your wedding :)

Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

If for whatever reason I am in the hospital, or cannot make it to your wedding, I have a team of associate photographers who have worked for me for years. One of them would fill in my shoes and I would still do all of the editing.

I am here to photograph weddings, couples, and branding sessions for those who are goofy, eccentric lovers and people like me! I absolutely love the magic that is created with the couples and individuals I meet to make their dreams or ideas a reality! If you have a wild spirit, and want your moments captured, lets chat! I am definitely a character who dances to the beat of my own drum. I make up dance moves (such as the turkey, it's my famous one, if we work together you may see it in action). I also love the artsy and creative shots, and ensure to capture at least a few of those each session. I have a background in art, so my heart always pulls me in the creative direction. I will, as well always capture the moments you want as well! We will plan a photo guide together to make sure we get everything before the day of!

Lauren was absolutely amazing to work with! She made us feel so comfortable even though we are not used to having our photos taken. Her process of prompts rather than posing is so awesome and helped us to look more natural in the photos. She worked so quickly to get us our pictures back and her editing style is just incredible. Lauren was an amazing photographer to work with! My husband and I planned to get married in Rockford while living in Houston. Choosing our photographer who was willing to work with our weird circumstance was super important. From the start Lauren was communicative, supportive, and flexible! As a person she is so kind and calming, as a professional her pictures really captured what I envisioned for our wedding day. She was direct about her pricing, her suggestions, and her advice. On my wedding day I didn’t have to worry about a thing and I’m so glad she captured our most important moments.

Lauren was amazing from our first conversation all the way til the end. As an interracial couple, I was drawn to her photos featuring diverse couples. I loved that Lauren talked about having experience and taking a course dedicated to the lighting/ensuring different skin tones look great in photos (she used professional photographer words but this was over a year ago now haha!) I told her about my insecurities and she ensured me that I would look beautiful and suggested different poses etc that would highlight the features that I wanted. She was on time and took charge of the timeline to keep us on track which I greatly appreciated. The photos are amazing; I can’t decide which is my favorite because it changes every day! I cannot recommend LAR photography enough. Definitely the smoothest vendor of the day. Thank you Lauren!!!
