Lindsay Stayton began her career in the photography industry in 2008. Her first gig was photographing The Worlds Largest Music Festival, Summerfest. In 2010, Lindsay was asked to photographed her first wedding after a couple stated "If you can photograph Flava Flave, then you can most definitely photograph our wedding!" Most couples have requested Lindsay to continue capturing life’s candid moments for their growing families, which led to her tag line: “Your Family Historian”. Lindsay has a distinct and unique style which captures real human emotion and candid moments.

During your wedding, I am your paparazzi (without all the annoying cat calls and flash). I am there to capture your natural moments and provide prompts and suggestions when needed. That way, you get to see the little moments and subtleties that are usually missed. My experience being part of weddings has gone back over ten years (boy, it has gone by in a flash). From assisting wedding planning in Chicago, to opening up Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company's event and wedding venue in Downtown Milwaukee, I have seen it all.

Lindsay is exactly what we were looking for when selecting a photographer to capture our special day. My husband and I did not want a traditional wedding. We are quirky in nature and do not like staged photography...or photography of ourselves. You can only imagine the tall order we had for Lindsay....but she completely understood us. We felt at home with her during the planning stages and on the day of the wedding. She captured the BEST candid shots of us..in our true state...and we loved it. We loved every minute of it. She also kept our bridal party and demanding family guests inline....which is a battle all on its own! 100/10 WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND HER!!

Lindsay was our photographer for our recent wedding and she was a delight to work with throughout the process! Not only was she fun to get to know but she helped us think through all aspects of the day and to stay on track. From the beginning of the planning process, she was focused on getting to know us and what we wanted out of our photos. Even though we aren't used to being photographed, she put us at ease and made the whole process fun! Her photos were excellent! She captured candid moments, romantic moments, and everything in between! You are in good hands with Lindsay and can be confident that in the end, you will end up with some absolutely gorgeous photos!

Yes, you are always welcome to add on an additional photographer. This is broken down in our conversation. I suggest hiring a second photographer pending the size of your wedding and coverage desires. Lets chat more and I will be completely transparent on my thoughts.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. Alternatively, I am happy to provide you with photographers from the many networking groups, so I can help you can find the perfect alternate, if necessary.

You can expect about 50-75 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, among other factors.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. I am happy to suggest some of my favorite videographers in the area.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look just like your day. My style is true to color. What you see on your day is exactly what you should remember in your photos.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. However, if the date is free, I am happy to discuss, do not hesitate to reach out! I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Yes! In my ten year career I have been fortunate enough to travel for weddings across the globe. From Jamaica, to Washington State, Minnesota, Chicago, Indiana, and even Scotland. I love Wisconsin, but would love to see the world with you and capture all of your candid moments.

I find talking with any wedding vendor like a first date. If it feels right on the first meeting, you have met your match, go with your gut. Especially with Wedding Photographers, we are the people who will be with you the majority of your day! Find the perfect fit is someone you enjoy their company just as much as you love their art.

My style is true to color. I am not dark and moody, although beautiful, I prefer to capture what your day looked like in real life. If the weather is dark and moody on your wedding day, then yes, my photos will be a bit darker than a sunny day. I also love to have fun on your day. Yes, it is serious, however we should be laughing and allowing your personalities to shine.

Yes, it depends on which package we find is the perfect fit for your day. Typically it is 25-33% of your overall package. Lets chat more!
