Hi! I’m Emma-Rose, Owner and Lead Photographer at Sandhill Photography. Photographer, world traveler, artist, conversationalist, laid back beach goer, nature lover, adventurer, teacher, friend, I am all this and more. Most of all, I'm someone who can’t wait to meet you and have an opportunity to capture all the nuance of who YOU are! Every picture tells a story, and I look forward to meeting you and learning how to capture and tell yours.

When I began shooting weddings and events, I found that I had the power to tell a person’s story through my lens, an ability which moved my storytellers heart beyond words and gave new life to my art. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and aside from the inspiration I take from my clients lives, clean compositions, vibrant light, and storytelling are all key elements to my photography style, creating a clean, contemporary, photo-journalistic look. Together, we'll work through a series of creative consultations and get to know each other better as we prepare for your wedding and ultimately create a beautiful collection of wedding memories!

Emma-Rose is a true artist and has a better eye than any photographer I've ever met before. I am so blown away by how gorgeous our wedding photos are and can't believe that is really us in those beautiful pictures, as they look like a magazine shoot. Emma-Rose literally manages to be everywhere and captures every image and magical moment ... she'll stand on chairs, climb on rocks, go in the ocean - whatever is necessary to get that perfect shot. Along with her talent, she is so darn fun to be around and made taking photos really enjoyable even during our wedding reception. She captured the love between me and my husband and encouraged us to show our devotion to the world. I'll be forever grateful that we'll always have Emma-Rose's photos to immortalize our special day.

Sandhill Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From our very first interaction, their communication was excellent - they were incredibly responsive, transparent, and helpful throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, the photographers made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, and we had such a fun time working with them. The quality of their work was phenomenal, and the photos they captured truly exceeded our expectations. We are in love with how the pictures turned out - they did an incredible job of telling the story of our special day. We cannot recommend Sandhill Photography enough!

If you’ve found Sandhill Photography then your search is over! Emma-Rose could not have been more amazing throughout the planning process and especially on our big day. She made sure we had a very firm plan in place for wedding day timeline, what my husband and I wanted captured, and if you allow her to have some freedom she will get some amazing shots you never thought of. So on the day of our wedding she seemed to be everywhere all at once and truly made me feel at ease because she had everything under control. Not only are her photos stunning but she is also super fun to be around! I’m can’t tell you how many guests told us afterwards, “Your photographer was awesome!!” That is super rare and she truly feels like a friend and delivers the most stunning photos. HIRE HER TODAY!!!! Sidebar: my train was bustled in 3 places and my dad accidentally tore one while he was standing on part of my dress so Emma-Rose was the one to help pin it up for the rest of the night!! Talk about full service! She’s truly amazing.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll you can expect to receive your online gallery of images within about 6-8 weeks after your wedding.

Definitely. All final images are edited individually, and will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, sharpness and other details to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge. Extensive Photoshop work is not included in any packages, such requests may be discussed on and individual basis.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

Nope! I'm a one woman show. On wedding days I burn a LOT of calories, you'll see me everywhere! I move around so much and take so many different, creative angles that you'll be surprised that it was just me, but I do what it takes to make that magic happen! In the rare case that a second photographer is required though, that's definitely something that can be added to your package.

This is general advice on the subject: If you're not sure that I'm the right photographer for you then it's not time to book yet, but if your sure I'm the one book your date immediately! All bookings are taken on a first come first served basis. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Life is filled with the unexpected, and while I hope I'll never face that scenario, I am ready to be with you every step of the way to make sure you have wonderful pictures in this extremely unlikely event. I'll work with you to find another photographer to capture your day. If the circumstances allow, I may come to the event to supervise, or do the edits myself. We'll handle this together!
