Hello! I’m Sharon and I own Sharon Elisabeth Photography. I feel so grateful every day that I get to capture the most heartfelt moments and feelings that occur during weddings as well as documenting the relationships between people who love each other so much – families, friends and couples! I love to tell the story of a wedding day and capture all the forms of love found there. It’s definitely not an “I have to go to work today” career. For me … it’s “I GET to go to work each day!" There is nothing I would rather do more than have my camera in my hands & working with wonderful people.

With over 70 weddings captured and a full mature life of my own I bring experience and maturity to your wedding day. I am there for you & your families - period. We booked Sharon for our engagement photos and wedding and any expectation and hope I had for how the photos would turn out were exceeded by Sharon! Her ability to capture the best of both posed photos as well as candids were everything I was looking for. There was not a single tender moment or a moment of laughs that was missed by her and her team and I would recommend her to any and everyone! She also is so patient and quick to communicate and I truly could not have asked for a better experience! Sharon was our photographer for our engagement photos in March 2024 and our wedding in September 2024. Everything came out amazing. Sharon has a true eye for photography and she proved it to us in all her creative ideas! She delivered the photos to us when she said she would and does a great job picking out the best shots and editing. We received high res and web size versions!

Sharon and her second shooter, Hannah, are simply the best. Sharon's professionalism, creativity, customer service and commitment to detail were unmatched during the planning process and everything came to a beautiful crescendo on our wedding day in Charlotte, NC in June 2024. She understands family dynamics and approaches her work with love and respect. Her innate ability to capture light, emotion, movement and grace cannot be overstated. I can't say enough wonderful things about Sharon. We used her for our wedding photos and engagement photos. I was always nervous about the photography part of a photo shoot, never knew how to pose or what looked good. Sharon takes all that nervousness away! She gives amazing instructions on how to stand, pose and etc. She is also amazing at capturing sweet photos when you didn't even notice! She is full of fantastic ideas for a variety of photos. Once we got all of our photos back I was OBSESSED!!! It is so hard to pick favorites. Sharon was also wonderful about communication and getting back to you quickly. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Sharon to anyone looking for a photographer.

Yes most of our packages include a second photographer. Our second photographers have worked consistently with us for over 6 years and are fully experienced lead photographers in their own right.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Definitely. All final images will be edited in house in the Sharon Elisabeth clean classic true color style.

We work with a video partner to provide the best possible photo-video team for your wedding day. We offer experience and a seamless team effort to makes sure your day is smooth.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. (sometimes 8-10 weeks in the high demand months of Oct.- Dec.) Within this time, you can also expect to see several sneak peeks & receive a USB drive & online gallery with high-resolution downloadable image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

I am fully insured through the Professional Photographers of America Association - the largest advocacy & education group for photographers in the U.S. Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that right over to them.

In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I belong to so you can find the perfect replacement if you would rather hire another photographer yourself. A partial refund will be provided equal to services rendered at that point in time.
