I'm Miranda, a Jersey City, NJ wedding photographer. I understand that being in front of a camera can be awkward, especially if you're not used to it. Instead of putting you in robot poses, I will guide you on moving naturally and provide prompts to evoke fun and romance. Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, surrounded by all your favorite people and their love as they celebrate your next chapter as a married couple. It's no surprise you want wedding photos you can look back on to feel the connection, remember the moment, and share the stories. I believe photographs are like time machines, one of life's greatest treasures.

My job is to do more than just fix your posture and take pretty pictures. I also manage a timeline, follow your unique shot list requests, and not interrupt as I capture storytelling moments on your wedding day - from exciting reactions to shared laughter, happy tears to wild dance moves, and all the little dreamy details that make your wedding special. Your love story is truly unique, and the vision you have for your experience is super personal. That's why I take the time to listen to what matters most to you and create a timeline before you book my wedding photography services.

Description

With one photographer, you can get full day photo coverage starting from the getting ready photos, detail shots, the portraits with family, wedding party and as newlyweds, all of the ceremony and most of the reception dance party. Twelve hours will also be enough to cover most weddings with more than one location.

My fiancé booked her to capture his proposal to me at Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of incredible. Miranda has such a warm, professional presence that instantly made us kinda camera-awkward people feel comfortable in front of the camera. She’s not only talented behind the lens but also super organized, creative, and genuinely passionate about capturing the most special moments. Our photos came out stunning—full of life, color, and emotion. She really has an eye for detail and knew exactly how to guide us to get natural, beautiful shots. Miranda flew out to my San Diego wedding to capture my special day. She was so present and made me feel absolutely beautiful and comfortable. I honestly wish I could get married every year just to be able to work along side her. My groom also loved her and never felt uncomfortable or "over" the picture taking! Cannot recommend her and Greg enough! They are such a lovely couple and were meant to do this! Thank you!

From the moment I saw Suess Moments instagram page, I was drawn to the beauty of her images. Once my Husband and I met with Miranda, we knew we would be in great hands for our wedding day. Her strategic planning sessions prior to our day, helped us map out our wedding day, moment by moment and made our day go by smoothly. Her assistant Ashley’s attentiveness added to making us feel at home and in great hands, simply a great team! The photos came out unbelievably beautiful and we’re in the process of choosing the shots for our photo album and picture frame shots, so many to choose from! We could not recommend Miranda from Suess Moments more! She was absolutely amazing from start to finish! We found Miranda and we had a phone call with her, we then booked our engagement shoot with her and it was magical! She was really understanding of what we wanted from our photos and was super helpful and asked us loads of questions about things we hadnt even thought of! On the wedding day, she made us feel super special, despite the fear being in front of the camera!. We were confident that the photos would turn out gorgeous! We got our sneak peek photo gallery super quick, only 3 days after our wedding!! Our whole gallery was delivered to us in less than a month! We were absolutely thrilled! We absolutely ADORE the photos and cannot recommend Miranda enough!!!

The wedding photography community has proven times in emergencies how helpful it can be. I am in Facebook group communities where there are many qualified photographers who will pick up photo services in the event I cannot physically make it on your wedding day. If this stresses you out, a more effective plan B is to add on a 2nd photographer to a wedding collection as a way to lock in insurance for your wedding photos.

Lock in your wedding collection with a $1,500 retainer/deposit. While, elopement collections require a $500 retainer/deposit. The final balance can be paid off in one of two ways: 1. Monthly installments evenly spaced out until wedding date. 2. 50% 6 months before wedding, and remaining balance due on wedding date.

1. Insurance in case of main photographer emergency or camera tech errors 2. We are human too, we need bathroom and meal breaks, so while one is away, the other can focus on your memories 3. While you're walking down the aisle -one photographer will document your reaction while the other has attention on your partner's reaction 4. It's your fiance's day too! Documenting their story is just as important as yours 5. More photos = more memories to relive 6. "I wish I didn't have two photographers" - said no one ever

You are not a one-size-fits all. You have unique requests and I want to respect that. Within 60 days before your wedding day, you will complete a detailed questionnaire. This will show me what storytelling moments you want to remember, who your VIPs are, what time the events are taking place, and so much more! From there, I will curate an exclusive shot list and photo-timeline for your wedding day. My goal is that your day doesn't feel rushed and you have breathing room to just enjoy the moment without being hyper-focused on time management. Hakuna Matata!!

I live in Jersey City, NJ and I have a car + live just 15 minutes away from an airport to get me wherever you are! Unfortunately, teleportation is still in the works.... If I have to commute more than two hours to get to your wedding locations, I do require that I arrive one-two nights before your event in case of travel delays. Out of state may require r/t air, checked baggage, lodging, travel insurance, daily meal credit, rideshare or car rental. It's as important to me, as it is to you that your wedding day flows stress-free and on time. Once you complete your questionnaire, I will get a better idea on how your wedding photo timeline will look like based on your first look, your desired experiences, and where we are documenting it all. At the end of the day, I am an artist and while I edit your photos, I keep in mind of your wedding day color palette as I enhance it in your photos. Close up portraiture that shows imperfect skin texture; you can expect blemish removal and skin smoothing at no extra fee. All photos are color corrected, white balanced, cropped, and exposed properly. By request only: I offer advanced photoshop like distraction removal, face swap, body manipulations, sky swap, etc. Do imagine an extra fee of $15-$150 SIDE NOTE: I NEVER SHARE RAW-UNEDITED IMAGES. JUST LIKE A PAINTER WILL NEVER SELL YOU A BLANK CANVAS.

My biggest nightmare would be to loose my memory. I cannot fathom the idea of loosing your wedding day memories. Lucky for our generation of photographers, we have been gifted from tech GODS the option to own camera gear with dual memory card slots. JUST IN CASE one memory card gets corrupted, there's a backup. I own TWO cameras with this option and I bring them both to EVERY wedding, elopement and engagement shoot. After your wedding day, I go home to import your photos to: my computer, hard drive and online cloud. Well that's just not enough for me... so I keep the memory cards in a sealed envelope until I release your online gallery.
