Hi! I'm Ivy, The Pic Chick! I've been a wedding and portrait photographer for about 18 years! I am from Arizona, but now live in Colorado! I am married to an awesome dude, I have 2 tiny humans! I do everything I can to make the photo experience fun and pressure-free, to help your wedding day go by in a timely manner. When my husband proposed in 2019 the first thing I did was find a photographer. We booked Ivy’s services in fall of 2019, we were planning our wedding from out of state and Ivy made everything so easy. She had perfect communication and she even offered to scout out locations for our engagement photos. I am not good with coordinating outfits and Ivy helped out tremendously with that, she gave multiple ideas of outfits that would look good with the location we chose. We took our engagement photos in December of 2019 and they turned out so amazing! Our whole family loved them! Our wedding was scheduled for August of 2020 but with Covid restrictions and everything going on we were unable to make our wedding work at that time, even though it was a stressful period Ivy was so supportive and helpful though it all. We had to reschedule multiple times because of different Covid issues. But when our wedding date finally came she delivered wonderful support on the wedding day and the pictures turned out amazing! We have purchased multiple canvas’s of our photos from Ivy and they have all been amazing quality! Overall we love Ivy and would recommend her to anyone planning a Colorado wedding!

When we met with Ivy for the first time ever to consider her for our wedding photographer, we (my wife and I) left and immediately told each other that we’re selecting Ivy as our photographer. Simply talking with her, her attitude and passion for what she does is just unmatched. She is so fun to work with and always delivers stunning photos. She knows how to get things done as well. All of this led to my wife surprising me with boudoir photos who she had done with? Ivy. After this, we learned we had a little one on the way and chose to have none other than Ivy do pregnancy photos for us as well. It’s simply a no brainer for us anymore. Whenever we need photography done, we call Ivy. I couldn’t be more satisfied with everything we’ve had her do.

My approach to photographing any wedding is to capture all moments of love and fun that happens on your wedding day. I photograph a mix of modern-traditional guided portraits with fun, natural, in the moment candids! It's really the best of both worlds! I do everything I can to make the experience fun, relaxed, and pressure-free.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Yes and No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. My video crew that I work hand in hand with provides AMAZING wedding video!

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 8-12 weeks after your wedding.

In my 18 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted 2nd photographer I use at all my weddings. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
