The Savannah Creative
I’ve been documenting love stories for over a decade, and it never gets old. What draws me in, every single time, are the in-betweens: the soft glances, the hand squeezes, the laughter when no one else is watching. The moments you’ll forget were even happening until you see them frozen in time. My style is true-to-life and full of feeling that’s warm, natural, and rooted in the real connections that make your day yours. I believe the small things are the big things, and I’m here to help you remember them all. If you’re looking for someone to tell your story with honesty and heart then you're in the right place, and I’d love to meet you.
I know what it’s like to miss something the second it’s over. Some of my favorite memories are frozen in grainy old prints of bare feet in hay fields, warm sun on my face, my siblings laughing just out of frame. Those moments shaped me. I still return to them when I need grounding. I grew up chasing the light, trying to bottle up feelings I couldn’t quite explain: freedom, joy, belonging. Old photos helped me understand them. They became the thread between then and now. So here I am. Camera in hand. Heart wide open. Ready to capture the quiet, the chaos, and the kind of love that sticks to your bones.

Absolutely Amazing
I strongly believe there’s no one like Lakyn. She went above and beyond with every photo she took. She’s quick on her feet, communicative, easy to love and is so talented!! She made me feel confident in my photos - coming from someone who hates having photos taken. Lakyn would be the perfect choice for anyone!
Lifetime friend and the very best photographer
I booked a session with Lakyn a couple years ago for me and my boyfriends anniversary photos. She was very accommodating and super easy to work with. We have since had several sessions with her and I refuse to have anyone else do our photos. Not only is she our photographer but an incredible friend of ours. When the time finally comes she will most definitely be our wedding photographer. A couple weeks ago a friend of mine asked if she could do some photos for us for her portfolio, my boyfriend said “ absolutely not, only Lakyn does our photos“. Even with her most recent move to Texas she still has offered to do our photos when she visits home. We are so grateful for Lakyn and her incredible work!

Fun and Professional!
Lakyn was amazing to work with on our wedding day! She traveled 4 hours to be our photographer and her travel rates were extremely reasonable! Her work is amazing, as you can see for yourself in her portfolio. I would 100% hire her again.
