I am a certified wedding planner through the CWP Society since 2016. I have 10 years of experience in the events industry, mainly based on hotel, but always focused on weddings and social events. B & Z Events Co. is a dream of mine 10 years in the making, and I hope that with working together, I can help your dreams come true as well!

When you hire B & Z Events Co., you don’t just hire a wedding planner - you get a friend! I will be there for you from putting together seating arrangements and wedding timeline, to laughing and crying (happy tears of course!) with you on your wedding day.

    Barbara went above and beyond when it came to coordinating our wedding on Miami Beach. I believe having a communicative and skilled event planner is just as important during the planning phase as it is to have a reliable planner on the day of the wedding. And Barbara made us feel at ease in the year leading up to our wedding -- she answered every single one of our emails in a timely way with detailed responses, helping to troubleshoot any questions/issues as they arose. As a type A person, I really appreciated her partnership and organized, collected communication style. She helped my husband and I feel incredibly comfortable going into our weekend! During our wedding weekend, Barbara didn't let a single detail slip. She ensured all plans were executed to perfection, coordinated the most minute of details with our multiple vendors, and brought our vision to life. Our wedding weekend was perfect and Barbara's dedication and work played an immense role in that! If we decide to renew our vows in the future, B&Z will be our first vendor to contact!

    When we started planning our wedding back in 2024, we were overwhelmed. Many venues and their associated planners wanted commitments that we just couldn't make yet. While understandable in this line of work, it was a lot for a couple like us that did not have an idea of what they wanted to do. Working with Barbara at B & Z Event Planning couldn't have been a better experience. She was NOT like this-- in fact, from our very first meeting with her, the first thing she did was sat down with us and listened. Her patience and empathy shone throughout the planning process, and she was able to help us piece together what our dream wedding day would look like from the different visions we had in our heads. I can't say enough about this as someone who also works in the people business! Additionally, her expertise in dealing with different venues and vendors allowed her to give honest opinions and help pair us up with the right ones that would work best for us and deliver our vision on our timeline. The end result exceeded our expectations, and I'd argue even the expectations of some of our guests. We were ultimately able to have a wedding that was felt both formal but laid back, organized by untraditional, and very much inspired by the colors of the summer. Thank you, Barbara!     Barbara could not be any more of a miracle worker, and helped create our special day in just four months, something my husband and I did not think was anywhere near possible. We wanted a celebration that could really show off who we were and Barbara helped us source more inclusive vendors to help us go all out for the day. On top of this, she made sure that there were special accommodations made for my disabled mother including a special area for her at the venue where she could rest and custom meals throughout. Mom ended up feeling like a celebrity. Barbara handled all the stress that I threw at her with more grace than I probably deserved and she made the entire process a joyful and exciting time. If you want someone really devoted to you and will champion your vision with real fire and passion, hiring Barbara is a must.
