I create room for you to be present at your event by taking the noise of planning and turning it into something beautiful. I can cover all of your communication and detail oriented needs to help you sit back and enjoy your event.

Since graduating Texas A&M in 2014, I have worked for both large and small-scale nonprofit organizations. Within those years I learned how to run events with a dedication to efficiency. I started this venture into solo event management because I saw the need for an external person to help steer the event. I want to step into these spaces and help people experience the fruits of their labor. From weddings and anniversary celebrations to fundraisers and milestone birthdays, unload all of your day-of needs and celebrate!

Description	My fee includes: -Initial consultation plus a planning meeting two weeks prior to event. -Customized timeline for event day -Oversee event rehearsal -Coordinate vendors in arrival and departure -Assist with photo schedule -Supervise set up and tear down of decor -Manage the timeline throughout event day -Overcome last minute challenges that arise -Provide an emergency kit with essentials

From the moment we first started working with Cortney, we were impressed by her responsiveness and obvious knowledge and expertise that came with her experience. She was quick to answer our questions and provide helpful guidance throughout the planning process. Her attention to detail and thoughtful approach ensured our daughter's wedding day went off without a hitch - she and her partner, Cara, created a thorough timeline to get everything set up, keep the ceremony and reception on schedule, and served as a wonderful liaison between us and our vendors. We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of her work and the value they provided. We had 2 older daughters get married without a planner and I'm not sure how we survived! After having Cortney, I would never have another wedding without her! I look forward to referring Events by Cortney to our friends and family - it was a true pleasure to work with her and Cara.

Events by Cortney was a fantastic wedding planner to work with. From the beginning, their communication was professional, speedy, and always helpful in answering our questions. On the day of, they were an absolute pleasure to have by our side - making sure every detail was taken care of so we could fully enjoy our special day. They gladly assisted with decorating the venue and coordinating all of our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly.
