Hi! I'm Tavi (pronounced Teh-Vee). Hun Events is a boutique wedding planning & event design company with a focus on the sweet details of intimate gatherings. I specialize in weddings that range from 30-100 guests, but also work with larger events and am always open to unique venues and experiences! I plan weddings in Los Angeles, Central Coast, and Orange/Ventura/San Diego Counties.

I care about my clients and I care about design! My favorite style is vibrant, colorful, and cheeky and I love meeting couples who also truly love to focus on their event aesthetics and personalized details! I will always listen to my couples' love stories with an ear to the ground about what is sentimental to them so that we can incorporate thoughtful details throughout their wedding day to honor those traditions. My couples will get priority attention from me and will feel taken care of whenever they have questions or concerns. I'm the sole planner of my business and my #1 goal is to ensure that you feel taken care of and collaborated with.

Full Service Planning can include venue search, and guarantees vendor outreach and booking help, budget tracking, full design services, RSVP and website tracking, and more! It covers all the nuts and bolts of the planning process, beginning when we first sign a contract together!

Wedding Management begins 60 days out from your wedding date and covers all vendor communication about final details and logistics after you have hired all of your vendors. It also includes access to an exclusive Wedding Planning software that is customized to your needs throughout your own planning journey!

    Tavi was an exceptional wedding planning partner for our special day. Tavi’s communication style was timely, warm, productive and always clear, which was exactly what we needed to stay on track. The quality of their work and value was outstanding - they paid meticulous attention to detail while staying within the expectations of what we hired her for, and leveraged her deep experience in wedding planning to help inform our decisions. She listened carefully to what we wanted while expertly guiding us to make choices that would ensure a seamless event. Hun Events was instrumental in making our wedding day a success. She clearly communicated what she needed from us to be successful, handled all vendor coordination so we could truly relax and enjoy the entire day, and ensured we didn't have to worry about a single thing. Even when we had a poor experience with an outside vendor, Tavi advocated for us while being realistic in managing our expectations.     If you are a couple in search of a wedding planner, look no further. Tavi (pronounced Tevi, like Chevy) is an incredible planner with an amazing eye for details. She’s very thorough, detail oriented, kind, funny and easy to work with. The perfect person to help you through one of the most stressful times of your life. She really took a lot off of our plate, and took EXCELLENT care of us on our wedding day. Our wedding day was actually perfect and I attribute much of the success of the day to her and her wonderful assistant Jessica. We also added on the design option, and she really brought our vision to life. She designed all of our stationary for us, printed it, and had each personalized card for every guest. The florist she reccomended Allison (The Occupied Vase) just absolutely nailed it. So many compliments and I felt very well taken care of. Not to mention, our venue made a huge mistake and booked another event during our wedding rehearsal and she rearranged her life to be there for us at a way earlier time (none of us wanted to be there so early, but the venue gave us no choice). And of course she was there smiling, never complaining, in such a good mood putting us all at ease, and running a very successful rehearsal for us. So, even if you don’t think you need a planner, you should highly consider spending the money to have someone who is a complete professional, who is always early, who is dedicated to your wedding 100%, (even when you don’t always have time to be). We love Tavi!! She rocks!!! :)

    Where do we even start with Tavi -- she is perfect in every way!! She's that balanced blend that we all want in a planner of detailed, fun, and gets the job done. She was there for us every step of the way, but her magic really shined through when our venue had to change 2 days before the wedding. She immediately sprung into action, secured us an incredible new venue, and made sure all vendors were onboard with the new game plan, all without us having to lift a finger. We don't know what we would have done without Tavi and will certainly be recommending her to every single friend ever, until the end of time. On top of that final hour hero swoop, she made the whole wedding look GORGEOUS. There was not a single detail she missed. She took a random box of decorations we provided, and made a magical garden of eden out of it. We got so many compliments after about how seamless the wedding was, and so many said that if we hadn't told them about the venue change, they would have been none the wiser. That's the kind of magic Tavi can pull off. There's no one better.

    My wife, Kristie, and I are writing this on our one-year wedding anniversary, and as we reflect on that unforgettable day, it’s impossible not to think of Tavi and the extraordinary role she played in bringing it all together. Simply put, we hit the jackpot with her as our wedding planner. From our very first meeting, we were drawn to Tavi’s calm, grounded presence and the genuine care she showed in getting to know us. Her deep knowledge of weddings, paired with her warm and approachable demeanor, made every step of the planning process feel manageable and, dare we say, enjoyable. People told us to “enjoy the planning,” but it wasn’t until we worked with Tavi that we truly understood what that meant. She made it easy to trust the process—and just when stress would start to creep in, a single call or email from her would immediately bring us back to center. Tavi’s passion for what she does shines in everything—from the big picture to the tiniest detail. She has an incredible gift for listening, for understanding what matters most to her couples, and for making those things come to life with such heart and precision.
