My wedding truly wouldn't have survived without Island Creek Events. Katherine and her team went above and beyond for me leading up to the wedding and then absolutely blew me and everyone else in the wedding party away on the big day. They executed the setup, break down, and everything in between perfectly and I cannot praise them enough. They communicated promptly and effectively and kept things moving efficiently the entire day. I highly recommend hiring Island Creek Events for your wedding or any other event to ensure your day is perfect!!

As a full-time professional wedding musician, I've worked with dozens of coordinators (in several U.S. states). In my experience Katherine and her team at Island Creek are the best in the business. Totally on point, incredibly prompt with communication. Knew my questions before I asked them. Couples adore them. Perfect balance of relaxed and super friendly - while staying on top of everything ten steps ahead. That's a rare balance to strike and they make it look effortless. I was the photographer for a really nice waterfront wedding in the last couple weeks and working with Katherine was a *genuine* pleasure. I work with planners about half the time, and Katherine was easily in the top 2% of quality professionals in the space. Her attention to detail, friendliness and just all around positive vibes were top notch. She's focused and determined to get everything in her power just right, but not overbearing, pushy or egocentric about her role in the whole scheme of things. She really made herself a partner, and that can make a huge difference for professionals like me who have more narrow creative task to do. It was clear she was constantly looking for what the couple needed at any given moment, but she was also looking for what I needed to do the thing my clients brought me in to do—the photos I created, and my client's experience of the day, was all the better for it. Seriously refreshing, and I can't wait to work with her again.
