My name is Katie and I’m the owner of Lotus Events! I am a mother, hopeless romantic, and love all things outdoors. I specialize in rustic weddings, DIY brides, and theme-based weddings. I started planning fundraising events at a young age which led me to start non profits and serve as fundraising/event chairman for many organizations. After years of planning fundraisers and friends weddings, it was time to launch my business. I truly love what I do and hope you become part of my Lotus Family!
My previous management experience has prepared me for the unpredictability that can come with weddings. I stay calm no matter the situation, always have a back up plan, can talk to anyone no matter their background, can read a room to decide when we need to change gears and most importantly I ensure you’re stress free, having fun and feeling all the love.

| Description | Full planning includes creation of collaboration board, design, assistance with vendor selection and access to preferred vendors, budget creation and monitoring, attend all vendor meetings, website creation and management, RSVP management, and all items under Wedding Management Package. | Our wedding management services include full weekend. We can start with you as early as you prefer. Timeline creation, contract review, venue walkthroughs, no limitation on phone calls/texts/emails. We will lead rehearsal and manage wedding day by being one of first there and last to leave. Lead planner and 1-2 assistants included with our wedding management package. |

Katie, owner of Lotus Events, and her team went above and beyond to make months of planning our wedding day relaxed and a true success. We could have never pulled it off without her. Katie’s experience and network of trusted vendor contacts helped guide us make timely and budget-friendly decisions. We don’t know what we don’t know since we’ve never planned a wedding before, and she brought up important things we would have never thought of ourselves. She helped bring our vision to reality and, because of that, will always be a part of our life. Katie took a huge load of stress off of us. Katie and her team were AMAZING! I could not have asked for a better planner for my wedding. She answered all my questions and was full of great suggestions when I needed them. I would recommend her to anyone! She is absolutely fabulous and made my day great.
The best wedding planner you could ask for!
Katie and her team were amazing to work with! We had rented out a large vacation house as our venue, so we had to bring in everything ourselves as far as setting up tables/chairs, linens, decor, etc. Not only did Katie deliver on this and make sure everything I imagined in my head came to life, but her calming presence always made me feel like no matter what, everything was going to be ok and get done. She truly made sure we had the wedding of our dreams! I cannot say enough great things about Katie and her team. You will not be disappointed if you work with Lotus Events for your wedding!

I contacted Katie a few months before my wedding and knew that I wanted her to be our coordinator before we finished our first conversation. I told my fiancée that Katie was the coordinator we needed if we wanted professionalism, preparedness, and quality. We booked with her the same day. Katie offers service that is easily worth double her fee, and I felt completely confident handing her my wedding dreams on our big day. Nothing phases Katie, and she is prepared for everything. I would absolutely recommend her for any event.
