    I had the pleasure of working with Melissa and Kourtney (and Sonia!) for my recent wedding. As an out of state (and admittedly - a space case!) bride they were on top of all the things I wasn’t. Quick to respond to any crazy question I had, guided me thru the craziness, and did not hesitate to take charge of any situation- professionally. I am forever grateful for their expertise and the help they provided during and leading up to our wedding! Do not hesitate to work with these rockstars!! (And bonus points from me for a team that grabs a Swenson’s Galley Boy after an awesome event!)

    If you’re considering hiring a (day of) coordinator, you can stop your search, because you will want to hire Melissa & Kourtney of MK Events!! Hands down, no competition. I truly don’t have the words for how appreciative we are of the two of them and all that they did for us leading up to/on our special day. They kept everything stress free, and any time I became anxious about something, Melissa was sure to ease my mind. The day of our wedding, they took care of everything and more. They were constantly checking in on us to ensure we weren’t stressing, and we had anything that we needed/wanted. They made the day run unbelievably smooth, and they kept us on time and organized. Throughout the reception, they were asking us if we needed any drinks/water/desserts. Again, always making sure we had everything we wanted/needed. I have no clue how they managed to have any extra time on their hands, but they even took pictures for us- over 300!! Something I was so grateful for, so we could relive our beautiful day almost immediately through the photos they captured. They cleaned up everything for us! We didn’t have to do any sort of break down at the end of the night- they handled it all!! I will forever be thankful to the two of them, and their services were worth every single penny. When we think back to our wedding day, the two of them will be a special part of our memories. They treated us like we were long time friends, and I’ll be forever grateful!!

    We would definitely recommend MK Events! Melissa and Kourtney were wonderful to work with. Even though they were day-of coordinators for us, at times, they felt more like full service planners. They helped us collect and review our contracts, checked in throughout our two year engagement and the planning process, helped with vendor communications and scheduling in the last few weeks, and Melissa attended our final venue walkthrough with us. On the day of the wedding, they kept things running smoothly, and made sure all of our things were cleaned up at the end of the night. They also got tons of extra photos and videos that we weren't expecting! It was so appreciated. :) We'd absolutely recommend them for wedding day of coordination!

    Being new to planning a wedding, we had no idea what we were signing up for. Quickly into the planning process, we realized we needed help to pull off our special day. The process of finding a day-of coordinator felt overwhelming—until we found MK Events. Their sign-up process was a breeze, with a low initial booking fee that was incredibly helpful as we budgeted for our big day. The clarity with which they outlined their duties gave us the confidence we needed to know we were in capable hands. I truly cannot think of a single critique. Without Melissa and Kourtney, I would have felt completely overwhelmed. They held everything together with such grace, a fun spirit, and a calm demeanor that was not only infectious but grounding and very much needed on a day filled with heightened emotions. They became more than just coordinators—they were a safe space and a solid support system beyond what I can express in words. A moment that stands out in particular was when I had almost given up on the vision I had for our altar. I had 100% resigned myself to the fact that it just wasn’t going to happen. But Melissa and Kourtney went above and beyond to make it a reality. The way they brought that vision to life, down to the smallest detail, left me incredibly thankful. And the fact that they loaded everything back into the U-Haul at the end of the night was really an incredible help! Every part of the experience with Melissa and Kourtney was exceptional. Their calm and positive energy was exactly what we needed to counterbalance the inevitable stress of the day. We were even treated to a lovely surprise when they sent us some candid background photos they had taken and a lovely bouquet of our table flowers for both me and my fiancée, as well as our parents. Their willingness to step in and handle any task, from filling vases with stones and sand to troubleshooting last-minute issues, was beyond what we ever expected. These women are true superstars. We initially booked MK for day-of coordination because we didn’t realize how much would fall on us. We found ourselves becoming increasingly overwhelmed with all the tasks—decorating, moving decor, coordinating vendors and family photographers, and so much more. That’s when Melissa and Kourtney stepped in, and we couldn’t have been more grateful. Thank you, MK Wedding Coordination, for being the rock that held our wedding together. You made our day not just possible, but perfect.
