Fully Present on Our Wedding Day

We are incredibly grateful to have worked with Niki and the team at NJ Event Collective for our wedding coordination. After interviewing several planners based on a recommendation from our photographer, Niki immediately stood out. She was approachable, professional, and brought a wealth of experience—particularly with weddings at the Desert Botanical Garden. Her deep familiarity with the venue, its layout, and staff gave us tremendous peace of mind from the very beginning. We chose NJ Event Collective’s “Day of Coordination” package, as I wanted to handle much of the event design and DIY elements myself. I’m incredibly thankful that Niki’s team was our coordinator as they were absolutely instrumental in making our day run smoothly and stress-free. Throughout the planning process, we primarily communicated with Jaime, Niki’s lead assistant, who was outstanding—organized, efficient, and always on top of every detail. She ensured that nothing fell through the cracks. Our in-person meetings were with Niki, who was always well-informed and seamlessly aligned with everything we had discussed with Jaime. Although Jaime was unable to be present on the wedding day due to maternity leave, the rest of the NJ team stepped in effortlessly. Their communication and coordination with the other vendors too were impeccable; we were only approached with two or three quick questions during the entire reception, which allowed us to fully enjoy the day without distraction. One of the standout tools they used was a shared drive, which housed our timeline, vendor details, setup instructions, and more. This centralized system made it incredibly easy to update and access information without relying on endless email threads. The greatest gift Niki and her team gave us was the ability to be fully present on our wedding day. We never had to worry about logistics, vendor coordination, or last-minute decisions—everything had been thoughtfully planned and executed. If you’re planning a wedding at the Desert Botanical Garden—or anywhere in the Phoenix area—I cannot recommend NJ Event Collective highly enough. Their professionalism, experience, and calming presence truly elevated our wedding experience.

Niki, Jaime, and the whole team at NJ Event Collective made our special day such a wonderful and worry free time for us! In just over 8 months, they helped me and my wife plan a truly spectacular wedding at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix - We chose the partial planning package and it was worth every penny! Niki and her team handled so much coordination with the Museum and our vendors, and they made the day of the event stress free. I cannot recommend NJ Event Collective highly enough! They will give you peace of mind, expertise, and the confidence to plan every moment of your wedding or special event.

My husband and I had just three months to plan our wedding. Two weeks before the big day, we realized we needed a licensed day-of coordinator. NJEC came to the rescue! This was hands down one of the best decisions we made. Niki’s team is incredible! A huge thank-you to Kate and her assistant Tyler for their hard work and dedication. As an Architect and part-time event designer, I pay close attention to detail and, I was a DIY bride. I created all the layouts and handed them off to Kate. When I saw the reception space, I was stunned. Everything looked amazing, just as I had envisioned. Seeing my vision brought to life left me speechless. Hiring this team was some of the best money we spent on our wedding! Niki, Jaime, and the whole NJEC crew honored my vision and executed my wedding day exactly as I had been dreaming, organizing, and planning for over a year. We recently got married at the Desert Botanical Gardens, and the amount of street cred that follows Niki's name is amazing. All my other vendors knew her and loved working with her which made the process that much easier. Both in the planning process (I went with their "month-of" services) and the execution process, NJEC went above and beyond so we were able to enjoy and experience our wedding day and be totally present in each moment. They did everything in their power to make us both feel prioritized, pampered, and shielded from any chaos or challenges. If you want a team that will put you first, advocate for you when vendors are being tricky, think of every little detail that you never would've considered, AND make your wedding day run smoothly, then I highly recommend NJEC. Especially if you're getting married at the Desert Botanical Gardens!
