Ryan, a Montana native, founded Prairie & Peak with the vision of fusing local knowledge and his love for the state with his extensive experience in wedding industry. After more than 17 years and 700+ weddings as both a Wedding Planner and Wedding DJ, Ryan has had the unique opportunity to gain experience and wedding knowledge that is not often found in the industry. His approach to event production blends creativity with logistical expertise. Starting as a Wedding DJ, I averaged over 45 weddings per year across Montana, learning firsthand what works and doesn't work at a wedding. Ryan and his team were the event planning team for my sister's wedding- I was the officiant. The entire team was organized and in communication with us and each other quickly and completely. They were very knowledgeable and very responsible. He helped me to improve the ceremony and ensured the entire event went smoothly- my sister and her husband had a great time and were fully able to enjoy every moment thanks to Ryan and his team- Thank you!

We couldn’t be more grateful to Ryan and his team for making our wedding day truly unforgettable! From the very beginning, Ryan listened carefully to our ideas and offered thoughtful suggestions to ensure we had time to enjoy each other and connect with our guests throughout the day. All we had to do was bring our decorations, and his team took care of the rest—setting up everything from the arbor to the centerpieces, and even handling the teardown and cleanup at the end of the night. Thanks to them, our day was completely stress-free. I was able to relax and enjoy mimosas with my bridesmaids while my husband played a round of golf with his groomsmen that morning. Ryan was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process, always just a message away. He even kept us updated if he’d be unavailable, ensuring we were never left hanging. To this day, my husband and I still talk about how lucky we were to have Ryan and his team by our side. If there were any hiccups on our wedding day, we never noticed—because Ryan was always one step ahead, making sure everything ran smoothly. We truly can’t recommend him enough!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator! From start to finish, Ryan was extremely friendly, incredibly organized, and made the entire planning process so much smoother. On the big day, everything ran perfectly thanks to his attention to detail and amazing team. He even had clear umbrellas ready to go for our dreamy snowy wedding day :) Ryan truly went above and beyond to make our day stress-free and unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Where do I begin? From the moment we met Ryan back in November 2024, we felt comfortable and confident that he could help us create the wedding of our daughter's dreams - from San Diego, CA - in less than five months! Ryan is a stellar communicator, which made every detail seamless. From the venues we booked over a 3-day celebration weekend, to every vendor hire, he "drove the bus," maintaining a calmness, professionalism and responsiveness that helped this mother-of-the-bride sleep at night! Ryan grew up in Bozeman, an added benefit, but more importantly, is familiar and respected by everyone in the area. We knew we were in good hands at every step, and getting to know him and his wife Rye personally, was an added benefit. We had snowfall on the wedding day (at Rainbow Ranch in Big Sky) and it was our daughter's fairytale dream come true - Ryan knows how to handle every weather condition, rest assured. He is also is the best DJ we've ever experienced, reading the room and engaging everyone on the dance floor. Our family would 1,000 percent recommend Ryan and his incredible staff, and we are forever grateful for his significant role in helping us create unforgettable memories. Truly magical!
