Leslie Knope of Weddings! Serving Chicago, IL, Something Profound Weddings provides planning, coordination, officiating, counseling and consultation for couples. Rebecca, the founder of the company and ordained officiant, is deeply passionate about supporting couples in love. Rebecca and theam educate and support couples through the process; tell them what you want and they'll provide what you need.
Rebecca is an experienced wedding planner and coordinator, producing beautiful weddings for down to earth couples in love. She's also an ordained minister officiant who loves performing wedding ceremonies and supporting couples with premarital counseling. Additionally, she has trained many the loved ones of many couples to officiate their wedding with confidence!

We love Rebecca
Rebecca was an amazing officiant for our wedding! From our first meeting, she was responsive, organized, and helpful. She made us feel so comfortable and we felt like she truly got to know us as a couple. She helped us choose readings and decide on unity acts for our ceremony, which was initially overwhelming for us. Multiple guests have commented on our ceremony, describing it a "perfect" and Rebecca as "wonderful." If you are looking for an officiant, work with Rebecca.

We cannot say enough wonderful things to describe our experience working with Rebecca. From the very first call we felt so comfortable and cared for (she answered our inquiry quickly and after setting our meeting, immediately sent a calendar invite and zoom link! I was instantly impressed). There are so many little ways Rebecca made us feel cared for (bday wishes, noting favorite colors, small gifts), and she also showed up in the big ways throughout the process. When we had a problem with a vendor or were at our wits end or when an elevator broke 1 week before the wedding (!!), she was right there to guide and comfort us and most importantly jump in to help. She had back up plans for back up plans, knew so many vendors, had countless alternatives and plenty of ideas to spare. Working with two involved brides is no easy task and she navigated our different personalities with ease! Hiring Rebecca was one of the first decisions we made when starting our wedding planning and it was by far one of the best decisions. We had a 225 person wedding and it went as smoothly as we dreamed, in no small part because of Rebecca.

Something Profound Weddings provided us with an extraordinary level of service. Their communication was thorough throughout the planning process. Rebecca uses a portal that allows you to see exactly how much (or how little) planning you have remaining in the process. She adds in any little details that you may have told her, and most helpful, things that you may not have even thought about; Like when to schedule your waxing appointments!! I am truly thankful for Rebecca, our wedding coordinator, as I could not have been so relaxed and calm on our wedding day without her meticulous planning. Rebecca went above and beyond what was expected of her, such as gathering all of our personal items and placing them in the suite at the end of the night when my designated wedding person dropped the ball. I really should have known that upgrading the bar may not be the best idea. LoL. I needed Rebecca in every sense of the word, and she delivered an unparalleled level of service that made our special day truly unforgettable. Thank you so much, Rebecca.
