Ja’el is the ABSOLUTE BEST!
Ja’el Mendez and The Coordinated Collective are the best in the business. Ja’el is a master of the wedding craft and will make your day beyond perfect. She is effective, effervescent, and enthusiastic, an advocate and champion in all situations. Over our fourteen months working with Ja’el, from our initial meeting to our rehearsal to our wedding day to our post-wedding chores, she continually floored us with her sharp insights into pricing, logistics, and ultimately human nature. She always had the perfect reply at the ready to negotiate best outcomes and kept us steady in complicated transactions, allowing us to achieve our not-so-easy vision. Ja’el also helped us resolve and overcome disappointing moments with her extensive network and know-how. The Coordinated Collective was great, and we’d recommend working with them to any couples who are looking for a day-of planner. We couldn’t have pulled off the wedding without their expertise and hard work. From the start, their materials were helpful with finding vendors they had worked with before. And our day-of planner, Katie, was just the best. She took the time to meet with us beforehand and make sure that we had our schedule and timeline all sorted out well in advance of the wedding. After that, she was absolutely incredible on the day of. Katie took care of all the details and timelines throughout the wedding day, and because she made sure everyone was where they needed go, we could focus on enjoying ourselves because we knew we were in such good hands. She was cool under pressure when curveballs came up (as they do on every wedding day in some form or another) and it was clear she had coordinated plenty of weddings and had clearly seen it all before. It was so wonderful working with the Coordinated Collective and Katie because they made our wedding day as stress-free and smooth of an experience as possible so that we could spend as much time as possible celebrating with our guests.
Smooth sailing
I was unsure if I need a day-of co-ordinator but I am so glad we worked we Ja'el. She is very detail oriented, personable, highly knowledgeable and provides so much support in addition to just the day-of. Having her and her team around definitely made it possible for us to focus on enjoying the day rather than stress about the small stuff. Highly recommend this team.
Absolutely seamless
We worked with Katie for our wedding this past weekend, and it was gorgeous, fun, and seamless. Everything we could have imagined and many things we couldn't were anticipated and handled without us needing to give it thought. She worked well with all of our vendors, wedding party members, and many, many DIY elements and personal touches to make the party feel so much like us without us needing to be 'on' for logistics during the day of as well as the week ahead. We couldn't be more thrilled with how our party turned out, and it was largely thanks to her. Additionally, Ja'el from CC helped us early on when we were having major confusion & some headache about our venue contract. Their combined expertise, care, and commitment to giving us the best day ever was felt and so greatly appreciated.
