About this venue
Alton Farmstead is a naturally-beautiful, relaxed, convenient and affordable place to host your big day! On the west/southwest edge of Columbus, it is currently a working flower farm. The farm was originally a dairy farm, and has multiple historic barns that have been updated to accommodate events. Our event spaces
Long Barn
With our mismatched wooden chairs and string lighting, this barn is warm and inviting.
The long barn is open on one side to the large barnyard, with a beautiful view of the other barns, and giving guests plenty of space to spread out and mingle! It seats 150-175 max, and a tent can be added to the open end to extend the space out another 1600 sq ft allowing for a max of 250 guests.

Stable barn
The stable barn (which used to have horse stables in it), is an all wooden structure with a deck and edison string lighting.
Weddings with 150 guests or less can use this space for their ceremony (or for their back-up ceremony space in case of rain). This space is also perfect for cocktail hour, with appetizers and casual seating.

Best Venue Ever!
Alton Farmstead is the best wedding venue!!!! It’s breathtaking and historic. Natalie is the most wonderful person to work with! She has so many extras to help design the day of your dreams! Our wedding guests couldn’t stop commenting on the beauty of the farm and lovely owner. I would 1000% recommend this venue for your wedding or event!!

Alton Farmstead was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The staff was incredibly helpful, serving as an extra set of hands when needed, and incredibly kind and attentive throughout the process. Natalie was extremely responsive during the booking process, which was smooth and organized, and she continued to be timely and informative with her communication leading up to our big day. She kept on top of all the details, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. The venue itself was everything I dreamed of - the beautiful, rustic charm with gorgeous floral accents. Our guests are still raving about the venue and how beautiful it was. If you're looking for a beautiful farm feel with helpful, detail-oriented staff for your wedding, Alton Farmstead is everything you could want in a venue and more. Thank you Natalie and team!
