Terrace & The Overlook

Large event space with warm design elements, excellent lighting, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the winery space.

Guests will enjoy floor to ceiling windows overlooking our winery and production space, as well as Clark Street. A unique skylight and warm design fixtures provide excellent, airy lighting throughout. Lounge spaces overlooking the winery provide inviting areas for seating near our warm fireplace. This space is adjacent to our dedicated four-season outdoor terrace for events. Perfect year round and can be used no matter the midwest weather.

Chicago Winery is a unique urban winery venue surrounded by the vibrant arts scene of River North and the glamour of historic Chicago. Our venue boasts a four-seasons outdoor rooftop terrace draped in cafe lights that allow for an outdoor vibe all year round. The exquisite design will have guests swooning over its romantic tones. So happy we decided to have our reception at Chicago Winery. From our first tour to our wedding, the entire staff was attentive, kind and friendly. The wedding coordinators were easy to communicate with and very helpful along the way. The indoor/outdoor space was gorgeous and well laid out. The food was AMAZING! Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. The location of the winery was in a beautiful neighborhood and perfect/walkable for all our out of town guests. We looked at multiple venues in downtown Chicago and for the price/ what they offer, none compared to Chicago Winery!!

I recently had the pleasure of planning my first wedding at Chicago Winery, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. While the venue itself is undeniably beautiful, what truly sets it apart is the exceptional food and outstanding service. From the moment we arrived on the wedding day, the entire staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring every detail was perfect. Their seamless coordination and willingness to assist with anything we needed made the day run smoothly and stress-free. The culinary team, led by an incredibly talented chef, impressed everyone with a delicious dinner service—but the real showstopper was the "Strawberry Fields" dessert station, where every sweet treat featured strawberries. The creativity and execution were phenomenal, and the strawberry hand pies were a definite favorite of mine! Thank you to everyone at Chicago Winery for helping to create a truly fabulous wedding day. I look forward to many more celebrations at your wonderful venue!

We had a beautiful wedding at Chicago Winery! When our original venue unexpectedly closed, Chicago Winery's Sales Manager, Lindsey, worked with us to secure a new date. All of the staff we interacted with throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding were helpful, professional, and welcoming. The team here is great at what they do, particularly our Event Manager, Hulda, who ensured everything happened on our wedding day exactly as we wanted. Our guests were impressed with how beautiful the space is and how delicious all the food and drinks are. We are so pleased with our wedding and our whole experience with Chicago Winery and would highly recommend it as a venue!

Chicago Winery was the best venue that my husband and I could have chosen! From the very initial meeting, I knew that this would be the one! They pay so close attention to detail and to our desires and it was amazing to work with them! As a bride who isn’t much of a planner, our coordinator Chris worked so well with me and helped so much! Everyone from Chris to the staff were wonderful on the wedding day! The day went so smoothly and we got sooo many compliments from our guests!! Thank you to the team at Chicago Winery for helping make our wedding one of the best days of our life! Full of fun, love, and good food!
