Our 80 acres of Frasier fir trees and blueberry bushes are set at an elevation of 3,600 feet—just the height for a perfect view of the tranquil waters of Lake Glenville. Outdoor Ceremonies

Imagine yourself, silhouetted against a sky of deep orange—the sun melting into the Appalachian Mountains, as you say those enchanted words. “I do.”

This is the moment both you and your guests will experience if you choose to hold your ceremony in our outdoor space. An archway of braided branches, flanked by tall hedges serves as a whimsical procession entrance. Your vows and rings will be exchanged with the scenic backdrop of mountains and Lake Glenville.

Indoor Ceremonies

If you prefer an indoor ceremony, or if inclement weather prevents you from holding it outdoors, Chimney Pond Farm offers two indoor options.

The Gathering Hall is a retired barn which has been turned into a quaint ceremony space, complete with twinkle lights and branch arches. The reception space can also be used for ceremonies if you have a larger guest list.

It's Time to Celebrate

Our reception space features a large deck with a bar and counter space for cocktails and appetizers. The space also has a patio, surrounded by lush greenery and flowers, that serves as a dance floor during the warmer months. When the weather cools, there is space for a dance floor indoors as well. Our reception area is able to be decorated to fit the exact taste of the bride and groom. Ultimately, our goal at Chimney Pond Farm is to provide the setting for your dream wedding. If there is a location on the property where you would specifically like your ceremony or reception to be held, we are happy to work with you to create a unique wedding experience, perfectly suited to your tastes.
