Cicala at the Divine Lorraine is a gorgeous fine dining Italian restaurant located in a Philadelphia landmark. With several indoor and outdoor spaces of the historic Hotel Divine Lorraine available for your big day, we can create the ceremony and reception that is perfect for you. Our romantic and gorgeous dining room and updated historic lobby space are perfect backdrops for your ceremony, while our "little sister" pizzeria, Sorellina, with its statement circular bar, is perfect for cocktail receptions and late night dancing. Featuring authentic Southern Italian cuisine from our award-winning Chef-owners, Joe & Angela Cicala, and wines hand picked by a notable Philadelphia sommelier Angelo Secolo, we can create the menu and beverage program for the evening that is unique to you. Our striking main dining room can accommodate up to 120 guests for a seated event or 150 for a standing reception. This versatile space can be transformed for almost any layout and is a wonderful backdrop for a wedding ceremony, with an aisle set up under the golden chandeliers. A buyout of the space includes our main bar and lounge area featuring a historic wooden bar complete with premium Italian and local spirits.

Our pizzeria Sorellina features a huge circular bar in the center of the space, tons of natural light and a huge pizza oven. This unique space is perfect for a welcome drinks, cocktails receptions, casual brunches, and engagement parties and can accommodate up to 60 guests for a seated event and 100 for a standing reception. Wow your guests with limoncello spritzes and Neapolitan pizza straight from the oven.

With sweeping views of the Philadelphia skyline and a "speakeasy" feel, this one of the most unique spaces in the city. Cicala will provide full service catering for seated dinners or standing receptions, including a full bar set up in the space.

Wedding
This is my first review I’ve ever written, but Cicala is literally just that good. My partner and I got married here yesterday, and the entire experience was incredible. First of all, it’s just a stunningly beautiful restaurant in a hotel with a ton of history. All of the guests said how dreamlike it is. Highly recommend getting married there, but also just eating and drinking there on a regular old night out! We had one of the best meals of our life. The food was one of the reasons we chose this place, and it did not disappoint. Meatballs so succulent they melt in your mouth, ravioli bursting with flavor, red sauce that will tempt you to lick the plate lol. And don’t sleep on the dessert— not too sweet, perfectly balanced. They’re experts at timing too: all of the dishes came out at just the right times. What makes Cicala really over the top special though is the people. Dawn, the event coordinator, is one of the kindest and well-organized people you’ll ever meet. My now husband and I booked Cicala a month and a half out— for a wedding!— with no wedding planner. And Dawn patiently answered all of our many questions, accommodated our budget, and coordinated with our family and friends. The manager, Peter, is also a sweet person who made everyone feel so welcome. The bartender slung out the most creative drinks. And the whole rest of the staff were so thoughtful and just a fun bunch. Our wedding went so smoothly, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing thanks to these wonderful people. Thank you to Cicala for the very best night. My husband and I look forward to eating there for many years to come.
Micro wedding
From our first interaction with Dawn at Cicala at the Divine Lorraine, we knew we were in good hands. Her communication style was effective, fun, and perfectly friendly, which put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. Dawn kept communication open and provided us with wonderful ideas to execute our vision of a romantic, micro wedding in under two months. On the day of, everything was perfectly timed and our vision was executed flawlessly. The food was truly amazing, and we were thrilled with the exceptional value and quality of service we received from the Cicala team. We are victorious in our choice of venue and are so grateful to have celebrated our special day at this beautiful, historic location.

Best Night Ever!
Cicala at the Divine Lorraine was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding day. Their communication throughout the planning process was great - they were always responsive and helpful in answering our questions. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and decor that provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The food was amazing, and our coordinator, Dawn, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we felt taken care of the entire day. The food was outstanding! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience, and we're so grateful to the entire Cicala team for making our special day so wonderful.
