Dixon Gallery and Gardens offers the perfect backdrop for your big day, no matter the time of year. Two beautiful garden spaces--the Bowlin Stage and the South Lawn--are offered for wedding ceremonies, and the Hughes Pavilion, a beautiful brick building with floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor patio space, is offered for receptions and rehearsal dinners. Classic architecture, lush greenery, and a neutral palette offer a beautiful setting that can be easily personalized to make the space truly yours. Hughes Pavilion

Panoramic views of the woodland gardens

The Hughes Pavilion is a beautiful brick building with floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor patio space, featuring panoramic views of the woodland gardens. This space is perfect for a cocktail-style reception or a seated rehearsal dinner with cocktails; it can accommodate up to 150 seated if using both the inside and outside areas. Its neutral color palette and simple yet elegant design allow couples to keep it simple or go big with their design to truly make it their own.

Cutting Gardens, Cocktail Hour Only

The Dixon's most-visited area, beautiful blooms for guests to walk through and enjoy March-October

Whether you're booking a full wedding or reception-only event, cocktail hour in the Cutting Gardens offers a romantic, garden-filled welcome. Guests can sip champagne and mingle among blooming seasonal beds, ivy-covered arches, and our charming lily pad fountain, all with views of the conservatory (green house) in the background. It’s a picture-perfect way to begin your special night.
