About this venue
The Friends of Emerald Coast State Parks is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that works on behalf of Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou & Henderson Beach State Park. Our goal is to improve & enhance the guests' experience through services, improved facilities and interpretive programs. Funds generated through donations, membership dues, and FECSP services offered at the park go directly to support both parks. These funds are used to make improvements and repairs such as building projects, educational programs, equipment purchases, and interpretive displays to create an amazing experience for residents and visitors at both parks. Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our growing organization.

Voted one of the best beaches in Destin, FL, Henderson Beach is the perfect location to host your dream beach wedding. Walk down one of our six boardwalks over rolling dunes to a pristine white sugar sand aisle. With more than 6,000 feet of natural scenic shoreline that greets the emerald coast waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Henderson Beach is truly a breathtaking backdrop for your special day. Natural features of the park include sand pines, scrub oaks, and dune rosemary. Henderson Beach is A.D.An accessible and includes beach wheelchair availability.
