About this venue

Set on a 40-acre estate, alongside the beautiful Mohawk River, at the gateway to Dixville Notch, Mohawk Falls is a premier northern New Hampshire event venue. For the past several years, Mohawk Falls has hosted elegant tented receptions, and concerts on the shores of a picturesque private pond. In the spring - summer of 2016, a new 40 ' x 80' post and beam pavilion was built on the property. This now offers a new option for receptions, parties, meetings, concerts or art & craft fairs.

Mohawk Falls

A Picturesque Backdrop for Your Perfect Day

Mohawk Falls is a picturesque point on the cold waters of the Mohawk River where several pools cascade over ledge rock faces. It provides a beautiful backdrop for ceremonies and other events held on the lush lawn that is adjacent to the river. A set of cliffside stairs leads to a quaint covered bridge, which is an ideal spot for wedding party photo opportunities. The grand lawn offers a mature maple tree that dazzles with fall foliage and a custom archway to get married upon.

The Pavilion

Where Rustic Elegance Meets Waterfront Charm

The Pavilion is set on the edge of a picturesque pond, which a deck leads out to. The Pavilion is able to accommodate weddings of up to 200 guests, with seating around round tables, including space for a buffet and dance floor. A footbridge makes the pavilion within easy walking access of the gazebo for guests' full enjoyment. Inside you'll find a bar that is suited to serve alcohol for functions, as well as string lights on the interior posts.

The Gazebo

Say ‘I Do’ Surrounded by Towering Evergreens

The Gazebo sits on the edge of the pond across from the Pavilion. This makes for a breathtaking ceremony location for a wedding. Guests can gather beneath the towering evergreens while the wedding party makes their way down the rock pathway, set between rock walls. Festive globe lights strung on the gazebo to complete the look. The lawn near the gazebo allows space for a few rows of chairs to be placed on either side for those that need to sit. Up to 200 guests have gathered in this location.
