Old Town Farm is a rustic wedding ceremony and reception venue located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This rural refuge in the heart of a bustling city is a great option for newly-engaged couples who are looking to have either an outdoor or indoor barn wedding. For more than 40 years, Old Town Farm has been providing a country casual space at an affordable cost. What was once a huge, 18 stall barn is now a rustic event space that is perfect for entertaining guests and celebrating life’s happiest moments. To make this place even better, their award-winning produce garden is only steps away from the barn. There, you can find a number of gorgeous fruits and veggies, as well as eggs and even the venue’s very own bee farm.

The grounds of Old Town Farm offer both indoor and outdoor event space settings. The front pasture is a great space for a larger outdoor ceremony, while the gazebo and surrounding lawn is an ideal spot for a smaller, more intimate gathering of your closest family and friends. In total, the four event spaces at Old Town Farm have a maximum capacity of about 150 people. There are a number of settings to choose from, including uncovered and covered outdoor spaces, as well as indoor areas.

    Old Town Farm was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the very first phone call, the team was incredibly responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, the venue looked absolutely beautiful - the charming rustic decor and welcoming atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for our special day. Our guests raved about the lovely grounds and were so impressed with the overall value and quality of the venue. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our marriage. Highly recommend Old Town Farm to any couple looking for a beautiful, welcoming wedding venue.

    We wanted to have an outdoor wedding and an outdoor reception at the same location. There weren't many places in Albuquerque that really fit the vision we had (we didn't want it to be at a country club or hotel), until we visited Old Town Farm and saw those huge cottonwoods! We discussed our idea with Mikaela Dunn, the event coordinator, who was eager to accommodate us and make our dream wedding happen. And WOW, did she deliver. Do not underestimate Mikaela's abilities! She is organized, responsive, creative, patient, calm, a problem solver, and has great taste. We relied heavily on her to pull things off the day of our wedding and she was the rockstar we needed to coordinate with the caterer, the DJ, the bartenders, the rental company, security, etc. She and her team helped move a million chairs and tables, decorate, set up and breakdown, and coordinated with us on dropping things off and picking things up. The space itself was gorgeous for our August wedding. We used the grassy yard for our ceremony space (and used the chairs that were included with the venue), used the space under the cottonwoods for our reception and outdoor dinner (and used the tables that were included with the venue, but rented padded wood chairs for dinner), and used the barn for dancing. We got lucky that a monsoon didn't roll through in the evening, as we took a risk and didn't set up a tent outside for dinner- but the way everything looked under the trees was exactly what we wanted. Mikaela got the vision and executed it perfectly, even helping us string up white bunting along the outdoor string lights. We initially were hesitant about the cost of the venue, but the value is especially realized by the amount of work that was done by Mikaela, her husband Ethan, and team. To top it all off, Mikaela and Ethan are such kind people. We are so happy that we got married at Old Town Farm and that they were open to our idea of having our reception dinner outside, even though it created so much additional work for them.

    From the venue to the oustanding team, this place is PHENOMENAL!! I absolutely fell inlove with the property the moment I turned the corner to drive in. A big thank you to the Dunns and your staff for your assitance and assurance during this chapter of our lives. Thank you Linda and Lanny for letting us have our special day on your beautiful property. If you are looking for rustic vibes this place is for you!! You will not be disappointed!
