About this venue

Ripple Ranch functions as a local farmstead located only 25 minutes east of downtown Boise, just past lucky peak reservoir. Run by Marc and Tricia Warnke, the Ranch strives to ripple out kindness, love and gratitude to the world through people, animals and food. Marc and Tricia are long term homesteaders who have spent most of their lives learning the craft of animal husbandry and working with the land. Tricia has over 40 years of horse training experience, while Marc’s expertise is in goats. He’s known globally as the “Goat Guy” and teaches people around the world how to work with goats for milk, companionship, and packing. Marc has been featured in documentaries produced by the BBC, Filson and Fieldcraft Survival to name a few. Ripple Ranch is primarily an outdoor venue with a rustic, farm-life vibe. They have beautiful views of the mountains with multiple locations around the property perfect for hosting ceremonies and receptions etc.

Yes, of course! Remember that this is a working ranch and a private residence. All children will need to be supervised.

If you take a look at our website, you will see that we offer a multitude of add-ons on top of renting the space. -creek fed cold plunge (seasonal) -family sized sauna -beer goats -horses for wedding party use -after party bonfire (seasonal) -wedding party goat trekking excursion with lunch and wine pairing -newly renovated Airbnb space -club house for groomsmen - overnight camping for guests on site.

We have an entire area (pasture) set aside for personal parking on site. Since this is a private residence and working farm, we as that guests take care driving through the property to get to the parking area.

Yes! We offer three on-site stay options for guests who would rather not drive back into town after the party. 1. We have a fully renovated Airbnb on the property that can sleep up to 6 people. 2. Our Ripple Center can sleep up to 25 people in cots or sleeping bags. 3. We offer an on-site camping option for those who want to sleep outside under the stars in one of our pastures, or in campers.

We are on a sprawling 40 acre property bumped up to the foothills, and it is easy to drive through with trucks and/or vans carrying set-up supplies. Our Airbnb has a fully renovated kitchen for catering access, and we have plenty of room for food trucks to park on the property if needed.

We are offering up our entire property for couples to plan their big day as they wish. Once they have toured the property, they can decide where they want to host certain aspects of their big day. Any one of our pastures can be used as a ceremony/reception site. The Ripple Center can be used to host smaller receptions, or it can function as a space for the groomsmen to get ready. We have two flat, open air spaces perfect for a tent to sit, and a multitude of locations perfect for pictures.

Since our ranch is a large, open air space, we can allow up to 250 people or more. We can negotiate on having more than 250 guests, but this is also a private residence and must consider the comfort of the owners.

Unlike most of the other venues found around Boise, we are offering our entire 40 acre ranch for couples to use as they wish. The sky is the limit! Also, since the treasure valley is relatively flat, not many other venues in the area can boast the serene foothill landscape with views of the mountains. We also offer an afterparty bonfire option for seasonal wedding so the celebration can keep going! Guests can opt into camping on-site under the stars and they may also choose to get our pack goats in on the fun. We are the only venue in the area with Beer Goats that are trained to walk around the venue providing beverages!
