About this venue

The largest cross-country ski area in North America, Royal Gorge is known for its sweeping views of the Northern Sierra and eight distinct trail systems. Featuring 92 trails with 0 of groomed, tracked trails for human-powered outdoor recreation spread across 6,000 acres, guests of all ages and ability levels are invited to try classic cross-country skiing, skate skiing and snowshoeing. Eight different warming huts offer respite from the elements and a chance to take a break and soak in the peaceful tranquility of the mountains. Make your way to Royal Gorge this winter to stride through towering pines, expansive meadows, and enjoy stunning vistas that include some of the most majestic peaks in Tahoe.

      These beautiful Scandinavian style structures offer unique flexibility to have an indoor/outdoor event with a magical design that lays perfectly within the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains

      Our meadow weddings come well equipped with beautiful tables, chairs, and built to fit dance floor. We provide China, flatware, and glassware for your event up to 150. We offer you access starting at 10:00am for set up and you may choose to extend your celebration, music restrictions apply. Most couples choose to add a Lake Mary Play Day, a Rehearsal Dinner or a Welcome Party in our Belt Room Bar as well as Lodge accommodations.
