Located inside Studioplex Lofts, this historic building was originally built in 1905 as a cotton mill property and now provides charm and timeless beauty. Skewed Orbit Studios was the perfect venue for our engagement party. I loved hosting our closest friends and family in this unique, homey setting that perfectly matched the vibe of my fiancé and I. The team was quick to respond, incredibly accommodating, and had an authentic energy that made us feel right at home. The space has a high-end feel with its large windows and cozy ambiance, yet it felt intimate and reasonably priced for all that it offered. My favorite part was being able to stock and decorate their mobile bar cart with our favorite cocktails and flowers. Ben was wonderful in coordinating the details to ensure our vendors and guests had all the information they needed. Our party was hosted at night, and the outdoor atrium has string lights that illuminate the entire studio. It was so cool and enchanting. Skewed Orbit Studios is exactly what we were looking for, and I can't recommend them enough!

Skewed Orbit Studios was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was punctual, informative, friendly, and professional from the moment we first reached out. They were incredibly helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to make our day special. The quality of their work was truly stunning - the space they created for our ceremony and reception was beautiful, stylish, unique, funky, and bright. It was the perfect backdrop for all the special moments we shared with our loved ones. Skewed Orbit Studios took care of all our needs and made sure we had exactly what we wanted. Pricing is the same year round.

Alcohol can be brought in, but it cannot be sold under circumstances. We recommend one of the mobile bar services from our preferred vendors list to help facilitate your beverage needs.

Yes, there is free street parking, as well as a paid public parking deck connected to our building.

We do not have peak or off-peak pricing.

Our space is accessible for those with mobility impairments, however, our restroom in the the space is not ADA compliant. There are other options within the building however.

One Skewed Orbit Studios staff member to help set up, breakdown, and any help that may arise during your celebration. We have 4 farm tables that seat up to 22 people as well as 52 black folding event chairs. Also included is stage lighting and a PA system. All other staffing and rental needs will need to be made with outside vendors.

We offer 2 booking options: half day (up to 5 hours) for $2000 and full day (6+ hours) for $3500.

We understand plans change. The initial $500 deposit is non-refundable and is due at time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to your event date. Any cancellations made more than 30 days before your scheduled booking will receive a 100% refund (minus the $500 security deposit). Cancellations made 7 to 30 days before your scheduled booking will receive a 50% refund (minus the $500security deposit). Same-week (within 7 days) cancellations are nonrefundable. We offer rescheduling free of charge if requested 30 days in advance. Rescheduling is on a first come, first serve basis.

Yes, you must provide your own invent liability insurance. The vendors, where applicable, also need to have update insurance.
