Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lower level of the building. Dinner and dancing follow on the upper level where grapevine and lights highlight the dance floor and grand windows surrounding the room offer a view into the woods.
Lawnhaven
Exquisite Garden Setting
The pavilion at Lawnhaven provides a perfect secondary option to eliminate the worries of inclement weather and comes complete with a cozy fireplace, stone bar, and casual outdoor seating. It is situated on a terraced lawn between Stroudsmoor’s Main Inn and the Cabins on the Commons. Its footprint creates a complete circle, forming an open-air arena surrounded by lush evergreen gardens for total privacy.

An event at Lawnhaven requires a minimum of 75 guests, while it graciously accommodates a maximum of 150 for a traditional served meal; 200 for a cocktail reception.

The wedding ceremony is orchestrated under towering black walnut trees, surrounded by the woods and fields of wildflowers. Open to the sky above or under custom tenting, are among the options available for your celebration at the Pavilion. The Pavilion will graciously accommodate 50 to 110 guests for grazing-style receptions with tailored-to-your-taste buffet menu options.

Take my money!
It all started in October 2022 when Michael and I bought a house in the area. We were driving around to explore and stubbled upon Ridgecrest. I had always wanted to get married on the side of a cliff. I said wouldn't it be so cool to get married here? Right in our town? Fast forward to seeing an ad for Stroudsmoor wedding expo. I wasn't even engaged and I booked us two tickets. It was just one day before the expo, when Michael proposed. I only had one venue in mind. Ridgecrest. When I would tell people where I was getting married at, I will never forget what everyone said; "it is so pretty there and the staff take such great care of you". And oh my gosh, YES do they ever take care of you! I can have panic attacks but the staff kept me focused. I was well care for with patience and love. I learned new techniques to distract me from anxiety that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Belkis, Corinne, Kaylie, Becca, Corinne's sister and Carolyn. You ladies kept me together. At the end of wedding night, I have received nothing but positive compliments of how stunning my wedding was. It was the best wedding some guests had attended. The most beautiful. The happiest. Room was filled with love and everyone could feel it. Guests told me the food was great. So much food. So many IPA choices. Appetizers were great. Band was awesome. Venue stunning. Views of the valley gorgeous. Live painter was amazing. Hair and make-up made my girls into bombshells. A luxury deluxe wedding. I went all out for this wedding. Deciding to book it for March and hoping for snow. And sure enough, during my vows I got my a small flurry of snow. This place is magic. I would do it again and again. Wedding planning is stressful but this place made it easy with an all in one package. Hair and make up, catering, floral and decor, bakery, and lodging ALL on site!! Then just use their wedding expo to research and pick a photographer, music, transportation and officiant. And you have all the major stuff already done! The next day after my wedding I did not have a feeling of let down. I was on cloud 9. And I told Michael, this place can just take my money again and again.
The Ultimate Wedding Destination
We were married in October 2024 at the stunning Terraview location, and words can hardly do justice to how incredible our experience was at Stroudsmoor Country Inn. From the breathtaking scenery and gorgeous views to the impeccable attention to detail from the staff, Stroudsmoor truly is the total package. The team’s commitment to excellence shines through in every aspect, and it made our wedding day unforgettable. From the moment we toured the venue in August 2023 until the big day, we were supported every step of the way. Linda, our planner, became so much more than just a planner over the year we worked together—she was our decorator, coordinator, and advocate. Her positivity, responsiveness, and dedication were unmatched. Linda, along with Belkis, our couples’ attendant, and the entire planning team, worked tirelessly to bring our wedding vision to life. And trust me, it was no small feat! We had a Hindu-Jewish wedding with two ceremonies, a fusion menu, and a large guest count, all of which were managed flawlessly. The Stroudsmoor team made sure we could relax and fully enjoy our day, knowing everything was taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or planning team. We highly recommend Stroudsmoor for any occasion!
Amazing
I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible team that made my wedding an absolute dream come true. Malia, my wedding planner, and Belkis, my wedding attendant, went above and beyond every step of the way to ensure that my big day was nothing short of magical. From the moment I started working with Malia, I knew I was in the best hands. Her attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism were unmatched. She took my vision and brought it to life in ways I couldn’t have even imagined. Malia was always one step ahead, handling every detail with grace and ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. Belkis was equally amazing as my wedding attendant. She was by my side throughout the entire day, making sure I felt calm, comfortable, and completely pampered. Whether it was fixing my dress, making sure I stayed hydrated, or keeping me laughing during little moments of stress, Belkis was an absolute angel. Together, Malia and Belkis created an experience that far exceeded my expectations. Every guest commented on how beautiful and well-organized everything was. I felt like a princess, and I owe it all to these two extraordinary women. If you’re looking for a wedding planning team that truly cares and will go the extra mile, Malia and Belkis are the dream duo. Thank you both for making my wedding a day I will cherish forever!
Wedding Review
What is there to say! Five stars is simply not enough! Well for starters we just had our wedding at the Terraview on 10.19.24 and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! There are simply not enough words to describe this venue and this entire atmosphere as well as planning process. Our coordinator was Barbara and she was fantastic. The entire year leading up to our wedding. There was nothing but amazing communication and help at every turn. They make the planning process for your event or wedding so easy and we were so grateful since we honestly had no idea where to begin. Everything was amazing on the day of and was perfect to beginning to end. There is not a thing that we would have changed about our wedding. From the decorations to the florals to the food, there was no detail left out. If you are looking for a truly unique and beautiful wedding or event space, I highly recommend this venue. The details of our day were so intimate and so carefully thought out by the entire team that we had working with us. We worked with the floral department and the bakery and the kitchen to create an amazing day. The transparency is second to none and we are forever grateful. They also have an on-site beauty studio where your hair makeup can get done and they were also fantastic to work with! Gina and her girls are truly talented and made my entire bridal party look stunning. My day of bridal attendant was Belkis and she is absolutely amazing. There was not one thing that we had questions on that she could not handle. She made sure that all the girls were eating. She made sure that I as the bride ate and was hydrated. She made everybody make sure that their dresses were perfect and during the getting ready portion, she was there for us 110% of the time helping with photos. Making sure that every detail on my dress was perfect. There are not enough words for her and I am profoundly grateful. After the ceremony, she insured that we had a drink in our hands and made sure that we were eating during our reception. She made sure that we were eating and brought us water on the dance floor and drinks on the dance floor and was just always at our side ready to help us. She is definitely an asset to this venue in so many ways. It is also close to the Scranton airport if you have guest coming from farther away. They have different venues on site (different sizes and styles) and it’s one event per day at each so you aren’t dealing with other parties. It is absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony sites are outdoors with gorgeous views and the reception rooms are beautiful. It is a family business and you do truly feel like family while working with them. I cannot say enough great things! It’s close to many hotels so getting blocks wasn’t an issue. You also get some rooms on site. You also get a wedding coordinator and a day or person who is well aware of you needs and wants! Our day was absolutely perfect beginning to end! They make it so easy to plan and stress free! Food was absolutely amazing and my guests have been raving since! I had a cocktail reception which I highly recommend exploring! They have their own full bakery so all desserts were also made by them! We are truly grateful for the entire team at the Stroudsmoor, who made our wedding day unforgettable and a day that our guests will talk about forever. This place is truly a hidden gem in the Poconos! Thank you so much everyone!
