About this venue
Terrain at Styer's, is located on the historic site of J. Franklin Styer's nursery, a Philadelphia landmark for over 100 years. With over five acres of everchanging blooms and greenery combined with a variety of historic spaces, the property serves as a stunning setting for celebrations of all kinds for up to 110 people. In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at Styer’s boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at Styer's is located just 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia at 914 Baltimore Pike Glen Mills, PA 19342.

The Garden Shed
A beautifully rustic space paired with modern amenities for celebrations of all kinds.
The Garden Shed boasts original features that are complemented by contemporary additions and amenities to create a charming and rustic setting for celebrations year-round. Enjoy access to the adjoining Hot House, which serves as an extension of the reception room. With ample space for both dining and dancing, the room features barnwood floors, twinkling festival lights, farmhouse tables and seating, and rotating seasonal adornments.

A beautiful place to have a dream wedding
Everyone that attended our wedding, let us know the food and drinks were amazing. My husband and I were also so happy with the quality and quantity of the food! That the day of your wedding will be so smooth and that it was beautiful. We would highly recommend, especially to a bride like me who had no idea where to start and ended up with an event that I got so many compliments on! Our event coordinator, Carla, was an amazing human being. She was kind and patient with me and made me feel so supported. I could never thank her enough for all of her help.
Beautiful Venue, Amazing staff
I would recommend terrain to everyone!! My husband and I were married here in May 2025 and we had such a wonderful experience. The food is amazing and all of the staff were so helpful and pleasant to work with. Our guests continue to rave about the food and comment on the beauty of the venue. The event coordinator was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process, it’s obvious that they know what they are doing when it comes to event planning.
Amazing Venue!
If you want an easier wedding experience, this would be the place. Carla was assigned as our wedding coordinator as well, she did an amazing job and was very thoughtful and accommodating to us.
Terrain was AMAZING!
From start to finish, the team at Terrain at Styer's helped us to curate the wedding of our dreams. Their communication style was incredibly helpful, communicative, and responsive throughout the entire planning process. The staff service was unmatched, and the food and cocktails were a huge hit with our guests. Terrain (Devon) also proved to be a very cost-effective venue, allowing us to stay within our budget while still providing an amazing experience for our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend Terrain to any couple planning their special day.
