The Blacksmith Shop is an industrial chic Wedding Venue in Macon, GA dedicated to providing quality event hosting services in Middle Georgia. Our venue combines all the best elements of a southern wedding venue — stunning architectural detail, a formal courtyard, and of course a rich southern history. Located in historic downtown Macon, the building and grounds have been lovingly restored, preserving its original architectural integrity, including the original handmade bricks, heart pine beams, and arched entrances. The spacious Macon wedding venue boasts a perfectly landscaped courtyard, intimate loggia, bar area, and full catering kitchen – the perfect setting for your Georgia Wedding reception, or formal event.

Indoor venue
The 10,000 sqft indoor venue is able to comfortably accommodate more than 200 guests for a seated dinner or 300 guest for a cocktail style reception. This space allows for ample room for a dance floor, buffet and flexibility on the layout of your event . The interior space is finished with original handmade brick, arched doorways, and heart pine beams. The iron wall sconces and added details allow the space to work for both classically styled and urban chic events.

Because we are dedicated to providing our clients with the highest quality services, we also provide the following services at no additional cost: • Tables • Chairs • 150 White padded folding chair for ceremonies • The setup and breakdown of tables and chairs • 250 Gold Chiavari chairs for reception • 60" round tables • 48" round tables • 6' long tables • 8' long tables • Cocktail/ Bistro tables • Outdoor Wicker Furniture • Access to the space from 8 AM - Midnight • Cleanup of the space following the event • Access to the space for a rehearsal based on venue availability
