Mr. Culver's Office
With an unusual layout and loads of charm, this special and historic room sits perfectly at the tip of our architectural Flatiron and often used for smaller and more intimate functions. A multitude of French windows and a classic black and white palette complement the original hand-milled coffered ceilings. Our City founder’s original office is discreetly located at the rear of our 2nd floor Gallery level and features its own Ante-Room, an ideal area for food and beverage or registration set up. The Ante-Room also connects Mr. Culver’s office to our lofty and elegant Parisian Room, creating the possibility of a larger layout if needed at any time during an event. From boardroom meetings to creative workshops, this historically significant space has also been used as a private room for brides and their ladies-in-waiting as they prepare for the big moment. Additional amenities include wireless ethernet connection plentiful power outlets and a projection screen.

The Studio is adjacent to the Parisian Room and shares its same bright and elegant décor. Added space appropriately overlooks the Historic Culver Studios and is perfect for smaller gatherings and meetings. The Velvet Lounge
Located on the mezzanine level just off of our Grand Lobby, the Velvet Lounge is a chic and eclectic hideaway, Prohibition meets Paris in the 1920’s. This VIP room is open to the public Thursday through Saturday after 8pm and is also a favorite for those seeking a ‘loungy’ event space. Blow out your birthday candles, unwind at a wrap party or mingle at a company cocktail event. This private area is equipped with its own bar and an excellent sound system so you can get ready to twist, tango or rock n’roll to the sounds of your own ipod or DJ. Always ready for a party, the Lounge features an optional dance area and disco ball. For additional ambiance, project a classic movie or your personal slideshow.

Turn of the century meets contemporary in this simple and elegant space, its décor utterly inspired by vintage Parisian loft apartments. ‘Wedding cake’ moldings take on a new meaning when blended with stark white walls and an artful herringbone reclaimed wood floor. Large windows allow for plenty of sunlight, fresh air and a view of the Downtown Plaza and its Lion Fountain. This bright and beautiful room is located on our 2nd Floor Gallery level and connects to Mr. Culver’s office through the Ante-Room, creating the possibility of an extended area or breakout room at any time during an event. Additional amenities include wireless internet, plentiful power outlets and a projection screen. Wonderfully set up for presentations, buffet luncheons, cocktail parties and screenings, the Parisian Room is a lovely, elegant and versatile meeting and event space.

The Grand Lobby transports us back in time with its Renaissance Revival elegance, twenty-foot ceilings and tall arched windows. Enjoying almost a century of history and grandeur, the lobby’s tastefully curated re-design strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern. Impressive in scale with a most intimate ambiance, the Grand Lobby feels more like a comfortable living room. A fully stocked bar, stone fireplace and just the right mix of vintage and contemporary pieces create an exceptional setting for small or large parties. The Grand Lobby is also where our musical artists set up every evening for alternative live jazz performances.
