We are an elegant, rustic wedding venue and just opened in May of 2019! Our capacity is up to 350 with the use of our gorgeous patio! The Event on Sunnybrook is a premier Wedding reception hall located in Brimfield & Kent, OH. You can go simple at our venue, but when you go elegant and extravagant there really are no words! You're left absolutely speechless!!! We do not host weddings on Sundays!

Best Wedding Day
The Event on Sunny Brook was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first spoke with Hope and Holly, their communication style was incredibly helpful, sweet, honest, and generous. They made us feel like the most important people in the world and showered us with compliments on our wedding day, which truly made it feel like a fairytale. The venue itself was beautiful and clean, and their attention to detail and ability to handle any situation that came up was invaluable. We are so thankful we were able to share our special day with Hope, Holly, and the entire Event on Sunny Brook team - it was worth every penny and we could not recommend them more highly!

The Event on Sunny Brook was the perfect venue for our wedding. They were very quick to respond to any questions we had during the planning process, which made everything much easier. The space is beautiful, it is very open and allows you to bring your vision to life. My wedding day went so smoothly because of Hope and Holly. We got ready at the venue in the morning and they were very attentive and were always asking if I needed anything. They made sure the ceremony and reception went smoothly. It was such an amazing experience!

I had the pleasure of planning Samantha and Tom’s big day, with their ceremony held off-site at their family church and reception at the stunning Events at SunnyBrook in Kent. This venue is truly a hidden gem—beautifully maintained with charming details and a spacious layout that made every part of the evening flow effortlessly. From the start, Hope and Holly were an absolute dream to work with! Their communication, attention to detail, and genuine care for the couple made everything seamless. The food was fantastic (seriously, guests couldn’t stop raving!), and the late-night wood-fired pizza was such a fun and delicious touch. The patio space offered the perfect setup for cocktails and a cigar bar, and the overall layout made it easy to capture some truly stunning photos throughout the night. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with a team that goes above and beyond, I can't recommend SunnyBrook enough!

From start to finish, our wedding reception at The Event on Sunny Brook exceeded all expectations. It was an unforgettable day and experience. This is a stunning venue with an exceptional staff. Venue Aesthetics: The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The wedding ceremony was held on the beautiful patio overlooking the late. The reception immediately followed and was held inside the venue. We received so many compliments on the venue from our guests… From the high ceilings, beautiful outdoor views and the spacious atmosphere, we could not have picked a better place to celebrate the wedding of Tori and Brendan with our 200 guests. Service: The staff at The Event on Sunny Book was simply amazing. Hope and Hollie went above and beyond as we planned this special day. From the initial consultation to the final moments of our event, we felt completely supported. On our wedding day, Hope an Hollie were not able to be present but I cannot say enough how they left us in the good hands of Lynn, Mary and their team. It was a perfect fairytale wedding that we could not have been happier with the service received. Food and Drink: The food was simply amazing! Our guests raved about how delicious everything was, specifically, appetizers and the late-night pizza. The bar service was also top-notch, with a wide range of cocktails, wines, and beers to choose from. Atmosphere and Ambiance: The lighting, the music, and the overall ambiance were everything we envisioned. The icing on the cake was the owner of the venue surprising us with a fireworks display to close out the evening. Overall Experience: We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding reception. The staff was professional, the setting was beautiful, and everything ran so smoothly. We were able to truly enjoy our day, knowing that Hope and Hollie (and their team) had every detail under control. Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the reception was. If you're looking for a stunning, stress-free wedding reception, I highly recommend The Event on Sunny Brook.
