About this venue

The George Washington Hotel boasts grand architecture with modern comforts. The perfect blend of historic charm and vintage appeal is seen throughout the distinctive rooms and seven unique event spaces. You’re welcome to stay the night, week, or month! Select one of our vintage boutique suites for a truly special experience. There are 26 hotel rooms available on-site with a complimentary suite for the couple the night of their wedding. Separate spaces for the couple to get ready on the morning of their wedding are available as well. If you’re planning a special event for any occasion or a corporate meeting, our Events Team can help plan and manage all aspects with our in-house services. With a plethora of options and resources available for any event, we’re sure to make your celebration a success.

    We had an incredible experience at George Washington Hotel for our wedding! The staff was incredibly easy to work with and truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. We decided not to hire a third-party coordinator, and we absolutely don’t regret it—Hayley, the venue’s coordinator, made everything flow smoothly and was a huge support from the very beginning of our planning process. Hayley, Robert, and the entire team were fantastic—always timely and clear with their communication, answering all our questions, and providing helpful planning tools. They were very transparent about any potential issues or additional costs and worked hard to accommodate all our requests and guest needs throughout the weekend. The food was absolutely amazing! We received so many compliments from guests who said it was some of the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. Having everything in one location was so convenient and made for a wonderful experience for our guests. Setup and take down were easy, with plenty of time allowed—and they even provided last-minute essentials like carts for larger items and a bowl for the florist. We highly recommend booking your rehearsal dinner and after party at George Washington Hotel as well. It made the entire weekend so much easier for our guests, and the food and service at those events were just as excellent. Thank you to everyone at George Washington Hotel for making our wedding unforgettable!

    The George Washington Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff were organized, efficient, and kind throughout the planning process, which helped keep everything running smoothly. On the big day, they were calm, caring, and attentive to make sure we felt special. The grand, historical ballrooms provided a gorgeous backdrop for our reception. The crystal chandeliers, marble floors, and sweeping staircases made for timeless and beautiful photos that we will cherish. We were blown away by the sheer elegance of the space.
