The Lady is known for her romantic elegance, historic charm and one of a kind sunsets that create the perfect wedding backdrop. The venue offers lots of add-on possibilities, Vendor flexibility, custom fireplaces, and even wood fired pizza catering for intimate groups. Primary Ceremony Space
Our primary ceremony space features breathtaking views of the area farmland on Florence Island, Port Susan Bay, Camano Island and Whidbey Island.
This primary ceremony lawn area features 3000 square feet of lawn surrounded by gardens and farmland facing the magnificent views. The perfect place to experience wide-open spaces.

The Heart of the party!
This space features a covered full bar area with bar, back bars, freezer that holds up to 40 bags of ice and a kegerator that can hold up to 2 large kegs. Additionally, it offers a rustic wood pavilion that houses an outdoor kitchen space complete with a wood fired pizza oven, our largest custom fire place and lounge area. A romantic grape trellis covers the front area of the courtyard in front of the large fireplace.

Like a great aunt’s beautiful estate
The Lady Florence feels less like a traditional venue and more like the beloved home of a great aunt who’s thrilled to host your wedding. The house itself is stunning—filled with charming antiques, art, and delightful knickknacks that make it feel warm and personal. The outdoor spaces offer something special in every season. We got married in the fall, and were treated to blooming dahlias and grapevines bursting with rich, vibrant colors. Amy and Betsy are absolute gems. We were looking for a wedding that was both beautiful and low-key, and as soon as we met them, we knew we’d found our match. I don’t want to make any promises on their behalf, but let’s just say I floated the idea of a miniature donkey as a ring bearer, and they didn’t even blink. They matched our vibe immediately. I chose to have Amy do the day-of coordination—and as a project manager and full-blown type A person, I wanted to be completely hands-off on the big day. My wedding binder had instructions down to the napkin folds. Amy NAILED it. If anything went wrong, I never knew. Everything ran perfectly. We also loved how flexible the venue was in letting us create the wedding we envisioned. Through Florence, we found Carol at Island Girls Catering (incredible!) and she connected us to Sweet Buffet Lady for rentals. That trio made for an absolute dream team. We booked the whole house overnight and I highly recommend doing that. Honestly, our only regret was not booking the entire weekend. Having the space to linger, enjoy the night, and ease into cleanup the next morning was priceless.
Amazing venue and family running it!
The Historic Lady Florence was an amazing venue for our wedding! From the start, their communication was prompt, easy, and helpful as we planned our big day. The large, well-maintained space was perfect for our ceremony and reception, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. They provided excellent service staff and bartenders, and even stuck around during setup to lend a hand. Having the venue for the whole weekend was an incredible perk that allowed us to really relax and enjoy the celebration. The Historic Lady Florence helped make our wedding day feel seamless and stress-free - we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Such a unique garden intimate venue!
I have worked with several venues in my life, and this was by far the easiest to organize and work with. The venue is family owned, and you can feel all the love and thoughtfulness they have built into this historic property. We had my baby shower there in Oct 2023, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The property grounds is meticulously taken care of, with such a romantic and garden feel- including a big beautiful greenhouse, a green grass lawn, intimate outdoor seating with grape vines surrounding the area, and a large patio with canopy coverage. You feel all the feels as you’re walking around the property. Even surrounding the property is farm fields and trees, just adding to the beauty and allowing plenty of parking! I couldn’t recommend this place more! It is such a gem hidden in a small farm town.
