Revival Lounge and Pool Deck
Located in the vibrant DOCO neighborhood our airy bar and lounge open onto an expansive, landscaped pool deck overlooking the Golden 1 Center.
Revival is open to the public everyday starting at 4pm. We offer semi-private receptions in this space for up to 60 guests or full restaurant buyouts on Sun-Thu dates. This space is also available for daytime private events prior to 4pm and is a beautiful location for bridal showers, farewell brunches and baby showers.

A Dream Come True!
My husband and I are beyond grateful for the unforgettable experience we had at our wedding, made truly magical by the incredible staff at the Kimpton Sawyer. They made everything seamless — not just for us, but for our wedding party, guests, and vendors. Everyone we encountered was professional and friendly every step of the way. Our guests still rave about how delicious the passed appetizers and reception dinner were! We also highly recommend reserving a hotel block — our guests who stayed at the Kimpton Sawyer couldn't stop talking about how much they loved their accommodations.
The best planning decision!
Before choosing the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel, the venue for my wedding was one of the decisions I stressed out most about. I knew the location and look of my venue would really dictate how the day went, as well as how the rest of my budget would be impacted. Luckily, after many, many venue searches throughout Northern California, I found the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel. I was already familiar with Kimpton hotels after staying at a few for other trips, so I knew that I liked their aesthetic, in addition to how comfortable their rooms were. Thus, I was really impressed with how accommodating and flexible their wedding package was (perhaps because I booked during the height of the pandemic). The lobby, ballroom, and terrace made for a great ceremony, cocktail, and reception location. Finally, being located right in the heart of downtown Sacramento meant that lodging and transportation options were abundant for our guests, who came from all over the world. I would highly recommend anyone getting married look into reserving the Kimpton for their wedding! One of the best decisions I made.
