Had an evening wedding here and had such a fantastic experience. Our day of coordinator was Anastasia, who is so kind, professional, and responsive. She was a total expert: knew the best time for sunset photos, had great suggestions for which stationery was needed, and designed a custom floor plan suited to our needs. We are so, so glad we chose TMT! Specific pros: - Lots of stuff done in house (chairs, tables, catering, coordination, heating lamps) but option to bring in your own late night snacks and dessert - The food was amazing. Highly recommend the tri tip, duck, and coconut curry. Apps were crab cakes, raw tuna, squash latkes, and spring rolls. - Bar menu had flexibility with signature drinks - Truly everyone we interacted with was so kind - The views! - We stayed at the onsite house (Terrace Suite) which was really convenient. Plenty of room for everyone to get ready and stocked with items like an iron and champagne glasses. Welcome snack basket was a nice touch! Things to know: - Venue is up a windy road, so you may need additional expense to book shuttles for guest departure. Ubers to the venue are fine but very difficult to get ubers departing. - Will need to hire an acoustic musician for the ceremony if you want music outdoors

The Mountain Terrace seems to specialize in making your life easy. We were teamed up with Caren from minute one, and she walked us through every step from the day we chose our date to the Big Day itself. She was always available, always quick to respond, always helpful and extremely organized and meticulous. The venue itself is beautiful, but also very down to earth, which was perfect for us. Open grass, surrounded by redwoods, and a warm and welcoming indoor space with a large wooden deck that could easily accommodate our community (and then some). The on-site staff was extremely caring and really did their utmost to make sure that everyone was getting everything they needed and enjoying themselves. They do have some strict limits on outdoor amplification, so be sure to check in accordance with your needs. They were very accommodating with us, and did their best to make it work. We had an amazing experience that we will always treasure!

The team at The Mountain Terrace was a dream to work with from start to finish. Their communication was always quick, accurate, and efficient, and they were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue itself is stunning - it was recently renovated and the new touches are simply beautiful. The location was already gorgeous, but the updates have made it even more breathtaking. The Mountain Terrace team went above and beyond both during the planning stages and on the day of our wedding. We had a phenomenal time and I was completely stress-free thanks to their efforts. We loved our time and the warm, down-to-earth people that worked with us at Mountain Terrace. I cannot recommend them highly enough, especially since the wedding process can sometimes feel a bit cold - this team is truly wonderful.

The Mountain Terrace was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. From the moment we first inquired, their team was quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and genuinely warm in their communication. On the day of, the stunning views, lush trees, and delicious food provided by their fantastic staff truly made our celebration feel special and unique. They even went the extra mile by bringing a plate of appetizers and champagne to our suite after the ceremony, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our culinary team is here to provide custom catering services for your Event. We will schedule a menu tasting and consultation after booking to ensure we carry out your vision to perfection. No outside catering is permitted.

Confetti is prohibited, rice is prohibited, sparklers are prohibited, balloons are prohibited, and flower petals are permitted outside with a $100 “clean up” fee.

A security deposit of $500 plus the facility rental fee is required to reserve a date. If within 8 Months 50% of remaining estimated balance will be due.

Amplified sound is permitted inside the building only.

Tables and chairs provided for 250 guests; all additional equipment must be rented. Your venue planner will manage any and all additional rentals through one of our preferred rental partners.

All beverages must come through The Mountain Terrace. No outside alcohol is permitted. We have a full bar available and offer different package options to fit your needs.

Self-parking in the front lot is available. Additional parking at an adjacent lot can be arranged if necessary. Parking attendants are included to help greet and guide guests.

A 1-hour ceremony rehearsal is included in the rental fee, but timing is not guaranteed.

Labor is in addition to Facility Rental fee, Food, and Beverages. The Mountain Terrace is responsible for all in-house furniture set-up and breakdown.

Facility rental fee is nonrefundable. Cancellation 8 months prior, $500 security deposit is returned; cancellation within 8 months prior, all advance payments retained.

Peak times are May through October. We offer discounted venue rental pricing from November through April and also have a seasonal tent to keep the decks usable and enjoyable in the off peak season.

The staff was so helpful every step of the way- kind, funny, helpful finding vendors and giving advice. The food was amazing! We just wish we could’ve brought doggie bags home with us after! The venue itself is beautiful and peaceful. You feel like you’re so much further away in this forest like nook, overlooking the whole Bay Area. Inside is cozy and romantic- perfect for flooding with candlelight. When we were looking at venues, TMT was the only spot that checked all the boxes- unique, forest inspired rustic, but not too rustic, not hard to get to, all inclusive, and we both knew immediately when we saw the venue that we couldn’t do any better.\n\nMy more recent experiences over the past 17 years come as a florist on their vendor list. Every year I’m at TMT numerous times and always, the staff there are phenomenal. They always check in ahead of time to confirm details in order to make the day go smoothly. They are always helping the couple with whatever needs to be done. The setting itself is hard to do justice in this review. When I speak to brides working with TMT, I find myself describing to them, that while of course as a florist, I’m happy to fill every corner with beautiful blooms, at TMT you don’t HAVE to. What I mean by that, is that the setting is so natural and lovely on its own, that you don’t need to go crazy with flowers to give it a personality. I’ve seen and done just about every color combine to on and the fresh, natural back drop allows anything to work, which is so comforting.
