Welcome to The Old Blue Rooster! We're an indoor/outdoor venue located in Lithopolis, Ohio, just 20 minutes southeast of the hustle and bustle of downtown Columbus. This charming area is sure to make you and your family feel right at home. With an abundance of flexibility and modern amenities The Barn is sure to please you and your guests. The serene quietness of The Old Blue Rooster is one of a kind, but the quick access to local hotels and coffee shops is sure to please everyone. The Barn holds 200 guests and offers the flexibility, relaxation and rustic charm you’ll want for your next event. A charming, versatile barn venue offering a blend of rustic elegance and modern amenities, perfect for customizing your wedding celebration
Beautiful wrought iron chandeliers hang from the metal ceiling with accent lights on the walls that can be changed to show off your table displays. Head over to the bar and our bartenders will happily mix up a signature cocktail or your favorite brew. A large projector can be lowered to show the Buckeye game, or a homemade video of your choice to add a special touch to the day. Our 70-foot furnished patio is well lit on those summer nights and definitely a favorite spot for guests.

A cozy, spacious lodge filled with natural lighting and rustic charm, offering the perfect peaceful haven for brides to prepare for their special day.
With an abundance of natural light, a warm wooden interior, a cozy seating area, and plenty of tables and chairs for all those beauty bags, The Lodge is the perfect place for you and your bridal party to get ready. A small kitchen area, along with a coffee bar, is sure to make your bridal party smile on your wedding morning! The Lodge also has two changing booths with mirrors to help make changing into gowns a breeze!

A package for couples that don't mind putting in some WORK! The Value Package requires extra effort and time during set up, tear down and clean up of all spaces used on OBR property. It's not recommended to do this package alone - we hope you have some backup! Please note that the downside of this package is that you'll more than likely have to end the party earlier, to allow for the tear down and clean up.

The Deluxe Package is a favorite of OBR couples! Upon arrival of your big day, your tables and chairs are set up (the way we discussed at our pre-event meeting-one month prior to your event) and ready for you to start decorating! A little perk - if you rent our linens with this package, we'll have them on the tables for you too. At the end of your event, The Old Blue Rooster staff is ready to take care of tear down and clean up, too. Where's the easy button?!

Best Day of Our Lives
Lorraine and the day of team were amazing every step of the way. The lodge and groom suite were perfect to get ready in (and they’ve even made updates since our big day) and the Barn and outdoor space make a perfect backdrop for all the wedding events and photos. We are very grateful for such a reasonably priced and flexible wedding venue.

The Old Blue Rooster Event Center was a wonderful venue to work with for a wedding last year! Their communication was always organized, energetic, and on-time, making the planning process seamless for the bride to be. The layout of the venue is great, with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that provided the perfect backdrop for the wedding. The value they offer is excellent, and I would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for an amazing place to host their big day. Makes a photographers job easy with beautiful views!

Amazing rustic venue with a stellar team!!
We randomly decided to host an actual wedding rather than eloping, leaving us just over 90 days to get everything sorted out. During this insane process, Lorraine & the rest of the team were nothing short of amazing and truly work to help cater your day to your exact wants and needs. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly rustic wedding venue in Columbus RUN to book them! They truly are there to help with anything (linen rentals, vendor recommendations, connections to previous OBR couples who have wedding items for sale, and plenty of ways to customize your wedding package). From the beginning to the end of our planning process, it has been extremely evident that the OBR team’s excellence truly is in weddings. Making a wedding happen in 90 days was so stressful, but I would do it a million times over again at Old Blue Rooster!
