This place has so much potential, but it is obvious that no one wants to take that on or put in the work to actually host a nice event. The manager, Stephen, should not be working ANY kind of events. He claims to have done over 300 weddings, but is the most unprofessional person we’ve ever dealt with. We had issues from the moment we toured (once he actually responded to us after three emails and multiple calls and allowed us to stop by) and they continued all the way through our wedding. Here is the short list: the day we finalized our headcount we received a call from the manager (exactly one month to the day prior to our wedding) to let us know that he double booked and we’d have to find somewhere else to host our wedding (thankfully, six hours later we were back on); waiting multiple days (sometimes weeks) before receiving any response from him to our emails or calls; hearing three weeks before the wedding that chair covers could not be ordered from their “normal vendor” because they had wheels on their chairs (we’d asked for the cost for months…and how do you NOT already know that your chairs have wheels on them and your “normal” vendor won’t supply them?!); a 10pp addl cost that was not originally relayed to us; never receiving an actual signed contract by them after asking multiple times (never did receive one); were told they offered champagne and cider for the toasts only to NOT have cider (we confirmed it would be both beforehand since the majority of my family does not drink alcohol); running out of food even though we had multiple people who left before dinner so we were way under the headcount we provided; never having water pitchers filled up during dinner; staff completely MIA during most of the reception to the point where guests were going back into the kitchen to ask for someone; when it was time to cut the cake, no plates or forks were provided and my husband had to go in the back to ask for both…TWICE while everyone was just watching us wait. I could go on but I won’t waste your time. The staff the night of our wedding was kind when they were front of house and most of the decor turned out similar to what we requested. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful and our guests were just there to celebrate our
