About this venue

Windy Knoll is our family ranch. When my husband and I got engaged, we wanted nothing more than to get married at Windy Knoll. Rather than rent a tent for the occasion, my mom decided to build a wedding venue! The wood beams that make up the bones of the Wedding Barn were originally erected in the 1840s in Maryland. The original barn was the site of several battles during the Civil War, partially burned down, and rebuilt in the 1860s. A company called Heritage Restorations disassembled the beams and transported them all the way to Round Top, where they were reassembled and turned into the Wedding Barn.

Wedding Barn

A luxurious country wedding.

This is our reception space - the Wedding Barn. The beams are from a barn that was built in the 1840s in Maryland. There is space for 300 guests downstairs and another 50 upstairs. The floors are fully dance-ready - no need to bring in a separate dance floor! The caterer's kitchen provides ample space to prepare dinner for your guests.
