Hi, I'm Ava! I've been passionate about -people- my entire life. The love that I have for family and humanity has flourished into my enjoyment of filming meaningful experiences. I have always been the family member who captures the smiles, hugs, and laughter shared between people when brought together to celebrate a momentous occasion. A room filled to the brim with love and joy on your wedding day is something that deserves to be watched and felt over and over again. I take great pride in capturing that atmosphere and telling the story of your very special day by way of cinematic, heartfelt video.

While Mirage Media and Video LLC was established in December of 2022, I have served in the wedding industry as a DJ, Host, and Coordinator since 2010! 13+ years of such diverse exposure have allowed me to witness a variety of wedding styles, cultures, and preferences from many different angles. My confidence, flexibility, and understanding truly set me apart from other videographers and filmmakers.

Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.

I include a clause in my contract requesting permission to share wedding films for promotional purposes - such as on my website or social media. That said, your comfort and privacy are incredibly important to me. If you prefer to keep your video private, I completely understand and will absolutely respect that. All footage and links can be shared directly with you and your loved ones, with no public posting. You're more than welcome to opt out, and I’ll make sure your wishes are fully honored!

I (Ava) am the sole editor behind every wedding film delivered. I care deeply about the emotion, pacing, and beauty of each film, and being the only editor allows me to ensure that every detail reflects the same style and intention throughout.

Yes! I have two methods of capturing clear, high-quality sound during your wedding. There are microphones that I will discreetly place onto the groom, the officiant, your toast speakers, or the microphone being used. My microphones are wirelessly connected to a receiver that is plugged directly into the filming camera. I also use a professional XLR audio recorder. It connects directly to the DJ’s soundboard but operates independently, meaning it won’t interfere with their equipment or performance in any way. I always coordinate with the DJ in advance to ensure a smooth setup and a seamless experience for everyone.

The Forever Highlight Film includes 6 hours of wedding day filming, and a 5-7 highlight film will be delivered. This film will feature thoughtfully selected audio of your vows and/or toasts. The Always Highlight Film includes up to 9 hours of wedding day filming, and an 8-11 minute highlight film will be delivered. This film will include the complete audio of your vows and toasts. As a package upgrade, we also offer a Full Ceremony Film that captures the complete length of your ceremony.
